right just taking complete chance here!! A 1991 red nissan 300zx in the estuary car park in swords co dublin!!! its the second time i have spotted the car here!! the first being just after the irish skerries meet and the second yesterday!! put a club card under the windscreen wiper the first time!! Anyone know who is driving it

I've decided at long last to bite the bullet and get the car fixed once and for all!!! I have PM'd 2 traders asking for quotes on getting the tubs done but they haven't replied in 2 days!! Just wondered about your experiences and who or what is the cheapest way to get them replaced/refurbed etc. Preferably 360 bearing upgrades. On a final note could the problem be anything other than the tubs....the sympton is masses of smoke after flooring it on at a stand still or moving. It only happens when its warmed up by the way. Hi guys I.m in need of help here my exhaust is blowing like mad and my MOT is due. I think the problem is one of the cats as I kinda beached my car the other day on a friends drive... I'm seriously upset about this as I've had no end of trouble and now I've gone and broke my car myself! I have been considering two options. Either I go for a de-cat or I get another exhaust. I've been told getting the De-cat can uncover problems with turbo seals, causing the turbo seals to appear have just gone as the turbos begin to smoke, previously covered up by the cat. In which case I am looking for a replacement exhaust as well so if anyone has one they wish to sell/do…

when car is cold and i fire her up for the first time inthe morn or after i finish work, the car misses and wont accelorate properly (slightly back firing) also when i touch the accelerator the revs drop from just under 1500 rpm to 1000 rpm (choke on) and sounds like it is getting more air than petrol, it also hesitates on pulling away then when its warm the revs go up to just under 2000 rpm, but it stills hesitates when pulling away any ideas

can someone please show me where the o2 sensors are please. i know they are at the back of the engine but not sure what they look like. a picture would help

I have been looking at insurance quotes for the past couple of months for my first zed and couldn't believe how cheap it was. I was getting quotes of £400-500 for a 25yr old, 1yr NCB, kept in Bournemouth which is one off the best rated areas insurance wise. However, now i think I have found the zed i want and getting ready to buy i have just checked again and the quotes have doubled! what is going on! someone warned me that this was going to happen but i brushed it off, but i believe they have actually reclassified it now. I cant do classic insurance as it will be my main car and will be doing about 10k miles a year.

I was wondering wether it would cause any damage to the turbos, engine or pipes if the four outlet holes in the apexi bovs were made smaller? i have a pair fitted, dont get me wrong, love the sound... just want it louder!! any info or opinions would be recieved greatfully :dance:

Is there truth in what the man speaks? EVERY zed i have seen has them on the bottom hoses.

im going to change my air filters. what do you recomend. its just standard at the moment. im not looking to spend a fortune.
