I would like to buy a exhaust. Now I'm a bit confused because I think I read somewhere that the exhaust for a twin turbo "manual" won't fit a twin turbo "auto". Does this mean that the auto-gearbox takes up more space than the manual? I guess I can at least install the mufflers and the X-tubes? I problably will refurbish my turbo's in the winter. Is it true that the turbo's on a "auto" are different then the one's on a "manual"? If so, does anybody knows what turbo's are on the "auto" so I know wich revision kit to buy? Thanks, Mike

So as some of you may be aware I ended up running a VG30DE in my car with a pair of turbos strapped to it. Inevitably the high compression took its toll and we lost compression. This is when I realised what was there, rather than a turbo block. Anyways that's by the by. It's a late spec unit with 10Y heads. What am I doing with it I hear you ask? Well I'm currently dissecting it to work out what exactly went wrong and wether its rebuildable. So today i had an hour spare, I stripped the front down and pulled the heads.

I always knew i had the original NISSAN compressor in the back under my space saver and here is a pic of said item . Yesterday i was checking my spare, with me having 15mm wheel spacers on the front i don't think this spare will go on because the hubcentric's bolts are proud, i need the other 'sexier' space saver that is out there and eventually i shall obtain for the right money. The green you see, is the first aid kit that was sold with a Zed on it, btw. It wasn't until i turned the compressor bag over did i spot something in the bottom right corner then it all delightfully clicked with me :). Because a few month…

After 5 years of owning my 300 I thought I would sit down and take a look at all the paper work I got with the car Seems this Andrew Stewart was collecting the history of the car when he got it 2002 ,and may be he was a member of the club ? I even have the red and solid metal key from new ,looks like my 300 was well looked after from the day one as the paper work shows in 1998 it was on 60k and is only on 77k now He lived at Ardrossan North Ayrshire ,any of the Scotland boys know of him.

Hello all, I'm looking for the wiring harness to the HKS ALC that I saw on eBay, or I'll just buy an unit if the price is right and it comes with all parts and it's working. I'm really looking forward to obtaining one to increase my driving experience with my Z. My car is a beautiful 1995 NA 2+2. It has the usual mods Jwt, pop charger, xpipe, branch drone resonators, magna-flow stainless mufflers, etc. as a younger man with my first Z in the mid 90s I had 90 2+2 modded with a 5spd and we had a 91 TT modded auto. So I'm looking for a spirited GT that I enjoy and show at car shows. I just need that HKS ALC... And preowned performance chip. I can't post in classified ye…

Hi all, My 93 N/A seems to have developed a problem. Since starting it yesterday (frosty morning) it has been unable to pass 2500rpm. It seems to chug and vibrate when the revs meet this point, I was able to drive it until the car heated up and then the problem seemed to have resolved. The same happened this morning. Car starts on the money every time. Before this the car has been bulletproof! Has anybody encountered this issue before or know what it could be related to? I shall be getting it looked at on Monday

So I have got a set of new Ultralites sat in my garage which I am tempted to put on the Zed. They are 18" x 8.5j all round - not staggered like my current wheels. Anyway I can't get a decent answer for what would be ideal tyre sizes to put on front and rear and stay within the 3% ideal tolerance. I have had tyre places recommending from 225/40's to 265/35's. I want the widest possible on the rear but possibly less on the fronts - to replicate a slightly staggered set up. Thoughts? Also, my thoughts are on Yokohama Advan Sport V105's, Pirelli P zero Rosso's, Federal 595 rs-r's or Falken FK453's. Anyone know much about these tyres? Ta!

Some more advice please gentlemen! About to do a manual conversion and due to the exhaust pipe on the new car (the section that bolts on to the turbo) being rotten, I hope to use the pipes off of the old car. Now on the old car I have a japspeed system from the turbos back and on the new car car I have Greddy system from cat back. First question is what is the section that bolts onto the turbo called? I presume it's a decat? Second question, can I use this section from the japspeed exhaust and the Greddy catback? Do they join with the same flange? And lastly, the japspeed exhaust has no lambda/O2 sensors, so if I were to use this do I just unplug and remove them? …

As my zed won't be ready in time for a full season of time attack I am doing a single round at Brands Hatch on the 19th June and am entered in Club Pro. I will be attending a time attack test session at Cadwell Park on the 24th March but most likely I will be in my Evo. As always I will be competing in TOTB and as we managed to field a pretty strong team in 2014 I want to try and better that. I was with Eurospec team last year but it would be good to see who would be interested to join me in a one make team again. I will also be competing in the MLR Sprint championship and am enquiring about hill climbing too. Once we have the car running and a fixed calend…

I need to relocate my expansion tank as my left wheel is rubbing it when turning right, and yes I've just had the alignment done and it's all good. And no I don't want to remove it! :tt2: I know A fair few people have done it, any tips on what tank to get? What size? Where do people put them? I like the idea of next to the battery like the AMS one as that would make it easily accessible, but was wondering if anyone knows a tank that'll fit there well? Aside from the AMS one that is :wack: Otherwise it might be a bit of trial and error which I'd rather avoid, I've barely driven it for ages now and just want to get it sorted quickly!

Having got my boost controller up and running I now seem to be only able to hit 14/15psi Max whereas I was previously up to 22psi. I've checked the ecu for error codes and got a 55 all clear. I checked the hoses visually but what I really need is to do is check for leaks. Is there anyone in or close to Croydon that might be able to help out? I'm heading to Santa Pod on the weekend with some mates and it sucks I'll be down on power. Thanks in advance! Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
