that me reversing lights not working,had a good look at the wiring,could not see a problem,then it dawned on me, i have a 99 spec rear lights,but,the centre panel is black(painted out)sure enough,this was the problem,they worked but you will never see them:rofl:.So what to do! Drill Saw a hole 28mm next to(not too close as you dont want both bulbs touching or and not able to push the reverse light all the way)the indicator light(lower clear reflector on mine)then push in place,do same other side and thats it,5 mins job done and it fits nice and tight too,no need to cut out any staggerd recess for it to lock in place,Plastic is very soft when cutting,carefull not to use to…

going to change my spark plugs next week but which are the best for a standard 92 twin turbo fairlady,and what is the gap setting.All thoughts on this matter welcome.

this light came on yesterday- its the one in the dial binacle near the 'door open' light rather than lower down. only came on for a second or so when starting- I've checked the oil level which seems ok ( am never confident because of the design of the dipstick). Any thoughts on this as never seen it on before?

Looked like a LWB. Had aftermarket wheels on. Didn't see much else.

replaced the hoses hat the back of my engine but in process found one of the connectors had a broken wire. to get to it i had to remove a hose from the back of the plenum, which I found to have splits in it. ohh well . also found 2 pipes not connected to anything but am unsure if they matter as may be part of something that has been removed, will take pics tomorrow night

i drive 100 miles with no exhaust from cat back? Its an NA. Only has manifolds and de-cats. Booked in for a custom cat back on tue. The place is around 90ish miles away. Cheers

On the approach into doncaster this morning i saw a yellow NA (im fairly sure it was, looked like it had had the bottom lip painted black actually) on the A630. First Zed ive seen out and about for ages and ages!

I've just been reading up on the new car tax regulations and it states "Cars registered before March 2001 do not qualify" but what about imports? My car was registered in 2006 although its a 1991 model, does that mean it will fall into the new tax bands because it wasn't UK registered until 2006?

My front mud flaps don't fit flush where they run along the sill- ( attachment to wheel arch is fine) has anyone had this problem & if so what have you used to attach firmly? thanks in advance

having some 324mm disks made up and was wondering what people thoughts were on whether to have grooved, drilled or a combination of the 2, and how many of each to have on the disk. ive heard some say drilled disks can crack if they get too hot, too many grooves reduces the contact area on a disk, the truth is i have no idea so advice would be appreciated thanks guys ps -will mainly be used on motorway runs and the odd race from the lights against anything that want to, but will prob take in on a few track days if the results are good enough.

rear box:D Yesterday did a few jobs on the Z,cleaned under whole car,then underseald the lot,cleaned back box's(before and after pics shows)then cleaned all Inj conectors(very green and furry)water+fan conectors,throttle bodies,coil packs,today will relocate the PTU and set the TPS,oh what fun:rofl:at least it keeps me busy in week and its jobs that need doing occasionaly on these cars anyways,i enjoy it to be honest. gents this started yesterday redlined in first and missed out second gear no soises or crunches at all and the oil is up to full level any ideas why it wont go into second not even if i put the lever into 2nd :headvswal any help much appreceated

I give the guy the cash and drove the beast away, an immediate smile on my face, the purring V6 is fantastic, never driven an auto before and it was bliss. 50 miles later my pants started to fill, I gave it a little bootfull and the worst I could think of happened... Hi is there somewhare where this forum has listed all the stock performance figures? I am interested in the stock times 0-60 and 1/4 mile for a NA 2+2 Auto? anyone got any ideas?
