Can anyone tell me how long the adjuster screw is on their blitz BOV's asmine sound like an owl only at high boost, no response an lower end and my thinking is they need set up. Cheers John

changing revs 100-200rpm when i take pressure off accelerator, the revs jump up about 200rpm, and the go back down when i put pressure back on a bit of a pain on the motorway , when your cruisin and just feathering the throttle just had box off to fit new engine so could it be a sensor, ive not connected properly, or bad connection somewere or possibly, faulty torque converter, as i did not put mine onto the new engine, as one was already fitted when i got it, so rather than damage something, swapping them over, i left it on ?? hope its something simple, dont fancy dropping that box again:headvswal

hi all, have fitted new smic's, took it for a run and ooohhhh no, major hesitation/stumbling on full throttle, my thought, must be a boost leak. i have made a leak detector as seen on this forum and cannot fill enough air into the system, after pumping for quite some time with a foot pump, to find any leaks. so i tried this.... with the engine running i hold my hand over the intake hole the vacuum seals around my hand and i can hear hissing from the pass ic. like its sucking air, can this confirm a boost/vacuum leak at this location? cheers people, al.

out in my zed yesterday just got it mot,d yesterday taking it nice and easy as had my one year old son in the car some jackass in an astra turbo decides he wants to race so totally ignore him follows me all round taunton come out on the motorway boots it past me pulls in front then does emergency stop brake hard get hit from behind by old bloke driver of astra leaves and car now knackered and to top it off ex goes nuts and says im an unsafe driver and wont let me take my son in a car with me ever again ffs!!!!!

Im getting squeeling and a catching noise when using my brakes hard, always comes from the front right wheel. Its a series 1 import so im guessing it has alloy calipers, so im guessing its probably the disks warping. (when off the brakes long enough to cool down the noise dissapears) My question is... Will a caliper seal kit help fix this or should i just get iron calipers/new disks? If so how much would i be looking at? Thanks Pete

:hurl:help needed please my z started smoking and stinks of oil burning when race it a bit if driven easy dont smoke if idleing no smoke if hold revs to around 3000 slowly starts to smoke then up and down throttle so its like 2800 to 3200 revs it pours out and it only does it when warmed up thank you

Thought a few might be interested in this. One of the very few remaining good ones. Looks like it's had good amounts of money thrown at it. ZClub owner car. Never seen it before, but it doesn't half look good! Absolute bargain price too. Seriously seriously cheap IMHO. Only problem is with it, it makes me realise just how worthless my Z is. If all I could get for mine was £3,750, I'd rather moth-ball it or send it off to a museum. Quite sad to see such a nice example going for small change. Went to see Leon today and he's got started on the manifolds! Excellent job as always, he's managed to get the exact length / diameter I wanted in there and yet still make it so you can fit them without pulling the engine. Should be done by next week then can fire it up!!!!

At last the last two bolts i had to grind the barstuards off its now 3 20 its taken me nearly 3 hours to get the blood y exhaust off,oh well at least now i can see the propshaft.Right the cars on ramps and axle stands and choked up and i have spare wheels underneith at back just in case dont fancy being flatened and car is in secound gear and the handbreak has never been on so tight. Am i wright in saying undo the four bolts holding the middle of the prop together then the two witch hold the centre bearing thing and then that should drop down to give me enough space to pull out of gearbox or just leave it there and tie it of with steel cable ties? Hi all On the way to work this morning the car started and drove off fine however when i pulled on to the main rd at end of street the fan belt gave out a very loud squeel ! but quickly stopped upon acceleration As im not the best with cars mechanicly i thought get home ring nissan for a price and just get it changed! I was advised would be 24.99+vat and would have to order after he said the price i asked out of interest how much seen as would have to go to dealer to collect they would charge to fit while there my face dropped when they called me back and said it would 545.00 to fit :shock: Can this be right or was i just talking to a complete b…

Does anyone know what the cheap ebay alloy rads are like.Seen a few diffrent sellers selling for about £150 what are the welds like or im i better of spending twice that on a jap made koyo, dont want the hassle of getting one from the states import tax/ vat etc thanks taff.

My car is in bits and it needs 2 hydrolic pullys (inlet timing) NOT HAPPY!!!!!!! Has anyone got some or does anyone know where to get some other than Nissan. Cheers

Hi guys , just a minor thing , had the zed 8years its allways done this, the fascia cluster has that plastic rattle, rubbing noise , ive tried slackening screws and tightening screws, its not coming from the two bolt on pods its the main housing where the speedo etc is,,anyone cured this, cheers

was doing bit of maintanence the other day, didnt tighten the intercooler pipe as much as should have. came off, but on boost sounded awsome! really hear the air sucking in loud as hell! (car was running poor as hell tho lol) anyway, obviously screwed it on tightly. think im going to have to get screamer pipe now! even if everyone who hears it drive past thinks i have a boost leak! :D

Hi Guys, I consider myself to have a healthy example of a TT auto, but I notice on the buyers guide that it says the engine should be completely smooth with not the slightest vibration. My engine runs very well, is fully serviced by a specialist. I don't have any problems. But at warm idle there is the slightest vibration to be felt thru the car. One member on here said if you could feel a vibration on the door sill something wasn't quite right! I have Datascan now, I have turned each cylinder off in turn, there is no noticeable difference in power balance. I've got a funny feeling that this slight vibration is normal and nothing to worry about, but when you read …
