Anyone used it and found it to be good? Considering getting some for my rims to protect the mirror polished lip. Have heard it's a once only application and protects bare metal and treated surfaces. Just wondering if anyone recommends it.

How bloody difficult is to get someone to do their fooking job these days??????? I, finally, received a letter from Network Rail on 23rd May saying that I'd got the job here in Grantham (which I knew anyway) But I had to go for a medical, pass a Drugs and Alcohol test and obtain two references all before they'd give me a start date! Well I'm still waiting for a fooking start date :headvswal I passed the medical, should be no problem at all with the D&A test (but they are still waiting for the results) and only one of my two references have bothered to reply!! :headvswal At least it's the most important one (last employer) She said that she'll chase the D&A te…

In order to assist other motorists in identifying potentially dangerous drivers, it's now compulsory for anyone with a lower than average IQ and driving ability to display a warning flag. The flag (comprising of a red cross on a white background) will be attached to the top of at least one door of their vehicle. For drivers of exceptionally low ability, additional flags are required :xxx:

Ok standard 60-0 braking distance is 125ft. I have near stock setup: New disks all round standard size, front are grooved, rear standard, brake pads are mintex, brake fluid is dot 5.1, and finally I have braded brake lines. Results: 60-0 braking distance is 113ft. So thats 12ft knocked off the distance, I suppose it all helps. To put it in perspective I tested the brakes on my dads 2 year old Ford Focus and got 111ft 60-0. So my zed has virtuall the same 60-0 stopping distance as a modern family car, which I suppose is not bad. But yes I agree with many on here the brakes on the zed should of been manufactued with much more powerfull brakes as it is a car…

It's back! Well, not quite, but it's running (full engine rebuild). Just a few little issues to sort out and it'll be all mine again.

Guys you've done a first rate engine rebuild for me. Very impressed. It's even better than when I first bought it. Just got back now and it ran faultlessly all the way back. Even the idle issue is now sorted. Just some running in to do now. But I'm driving it like I did before the rebuild...it's the same style of driving! LOL Can't get over how smooth the engine is. It was smooth before hand, but now, it's just lovely. It's so nice to have the thing back, even though (like I always am) I drove home like an old git! The exhaust is still as clean as it was when I left your place!!!!

http://www.iespell.com/ ieSpell is a free Internet Explorer browser extension that spell checks text input boxes on a webpage. It should come in particularly handy for users who do a lot of web-based text entry (e.g. web mails, forums, blogs, diaries). Even if your web application already includes spell checking functionality, you might still want to install this utility because it is definitely much faster than a server-side solution. Plus you get to store and use your personal word list across all your applications, instead of maintaining separate ones on each application.

Should I have the section between my front indicators and fog lamps painted Black, or should i leave it dark red as it is at the moment? Seen it both ways on other peoples cars, but then I've not seen the black version on a 99 bumper in my colour. So, what do you think??........

1. Sing the Batman theme incessantly. 2. In the memo field of all your checks, write "for sensual massage." 3. Specify that your drive-through order is "to go." 4. Learn Morse code, and have conversations with friends in public consisting entirely of "Beeeep Bip Bip Beeep Bip..." 5. If you have a glass eye, tap on it occasionally with your pen while talking to others. 6. Amuse yourself for endless hours by hooking a camcorder to your TV and then pointing it at the screen. 7. Speak only in a "robot" voice. 8. Push all the flat Lego pieces together tightly. 9. Start each meal by conspicuously licking all your food, and announce…

There was a squeak of belts sometimes on starting up my Zed. I made wooden ramps to JD's measurements / plans  Got instructions for tightening the belts from Greg  Got the car on the ramps and tensioned the belt today - problem sorted! I've never done any work on the Zed before so I'm chuffed. Pics of ramps shown (plus one of the bike I bought last week - an old Honda XR400 for wheelies / mucking about in the brick pit).
