3 days to go until the Amsterdam/Germany/Nurburgring trip and my water pump has failed after 3500 miles back on the road. The bearings have gone and there's water gushing out of the end of it. Stripped things down and it looks like the new pump I supplied to Grasshopper wasn't fitted and I've been given someone elses old pump :mac1: There's even 2 screws missing off it that the fan mounts on :rant: Hopefully I've got one on the way for saturday morning so I'll have the day to fit it before getting the ferry on sunday - if all goes to plan... Your prayers would be appreciated! :rofl:

I have just been quoted very happy indeed but not by the people who advertise it on the telly. My insurance is up for renewal and the renewal invitation from my current provider came through a few days ago: £1078 for fully comp, declared mods, PNCD, 10K miles per annum. Did some shopping around (well, phoned about 8 companies) and couldn't get it much lower than £756. A few companies wouldn't even look at a JDM TT. Finally spoke to a broker, Academy Insurance Ltd, who were very helpful and courteous (got their number out of the back of EVO magazine). Rang me back and quoted £495 for exactly the same coverage as my (now) previous provider! That's a saving of £583!!!!!…

Hopefully the car should be finished in a few days, and i cant wait being zedless in this weather is torture.......... :rant: Just thought id post a few pics

My next-door neighbour has 6 cats!!! He is also building a large extension on his house. Almost every morning i open my bedroom curtains to find a furball curled up on my bonnet!! How can i stop the bloody vermin from walking cement footprints all over my car...? Preferably a humane method, but failing that does anyone know what lbs/sq" spring i'd need to fit to my bonnet hinges. If I fitted a remote controll solenoid to the catch, I could launch the buggers into the next street from the comford of my bedroom :nana2:

I was fuming, on the way back saw him again and he looked at the car again. Was going to pull over, get out (all 6'5" and 15 stone of me) to have a word only noticed one of my ex teachers who knew me was walking near him. AARRRG…
