Hello Mac Sorry if this post sounds rude as I dont know you and have no contact details so getting straight to the point, would you sell your Z as reading through the rides section I can see this is a serious bit of kit I do not think I have ever seen one to that spec here in the UK. I bought a brand new UK car back in 1991 but when I moved abroad I had to sell up. Now living back in the UK for the last 5 years I am on the look out for a Z that has had major work done to the engine. Thanks Craig

Got some yesterday for an unbeleivable price. Thats 12p a litre cheaper than SHELL optimax in ware(98p). Ive done about 100+ miles at the mo but it seems perfectly good to me...Might even fractionaly be better on the millage but id need a few weeks to really test it. Not sure if its psycological or actual but it seems more torquey lower down now before the turbos kick in. I was previously running ESSO 97ron so a 2ron increase may have just helped the engine breathe better. Needless to say spending £18 a day on juice (20 litres) / £90 a week (100 litres) that a saving of 12p a litre is gonna add up to £12 a week which is £48 a month   I hear y…

Just seen an advert for this. Personaly i dont mind the first 2, if you take them in context but what do we think this one is likely to be like.... doesnt even look as thought paul walker or vin diesel are in this 3rd one and its just a random hang on with modded cars...(although i reserve the right to want some of the cars in it...)

Tons of smoke out the back all of a sudden, no warning. Pulled over. Real bad burning oil smoke coming out from under battery. Looked like was ready to ignite. Looks like an oil pipe has given way slightly and spewed oil around, no major oil pressure loose or anything, so hopefully nothing major. Did have a couple of small leaks, so hope its one of them just got bigger. Thought Id be better off getting towed home rather than risk driving it and causing more damaged. Oh well.... wont be driving her for a bit now, gotta get her up in the air and see whats going on. Glad I joined the RAC. lol

Cheers Pete, Sarah (FairladyZGirl) and especially the fitter (Sarah, please pass on my gratitude to Pete and the fitter), for an absolutely top job on my exhaust. It sounds awesome - not chavy stupid loud, but a bit like a tvr :) Dead chuffed, and looks-wise it fills out the holes in the west wing bumper nicely - old exhaust looked a little lost to be honest. Had cats removed and no smoke :hyper: Also had all pipework replaced with 2.5" stainless and cobra back boxes. So thanks guys for a job well done.

Well, finally managed to settle down after a bit of a long and not particularly productive day. Four days ago I was more than happy but then got taken over by 'mods eyes' whilst looking at the white zed on ebay. I was going to go up yesterday but the owner wasn't about so went up today , quietly hoping I'd win the auction and drive back in it. It was certainly one hell of a zed. So much money and engineering gone into it. To be honest though the extra 100 odd bhp didn't feel a huge amount faster than my zed, but you could certainly feel how much work the engine had had. It was missing a bit though and running a little rough so maybe that was why. My car, despite having…
