sorted this sonofabitch out finally. decided to get a couple of simple jobs out of the way - fitted my throttle cover (never had one even tho ive had the Z for 3 years!) - thanks Kirbz. tried to stop the fan shroud from catching on the fan (slightly loose screws into rad at top caused very bottom of shroud to stick out slightly and lightly knock on the fan blades) and managed to get my sun-visor-held A-pillar to stay PUT :duffer: after experimenting with shoving a soft rubber block up there and screwing into it - various types of bolt which i hoped to insert into the square hole at an angle but which would not come out when flat-on etc. just as i was giving up, th…

A rabbit walks into a pub and says to the barman "Can I have a pint of beer and a Ham and Cheese Toastie?" The barman is amazed but gives the rabbit a pint of beer and a ham and cheese toastie. The rabbit drinks the beer and eats the toastie, he then leaves. The following night the rabbit returns and again asks for a Pint of Beer and a Ham and Cheese Toastie. The barman, now intrigued by the rabbit and the extra drinkers in the pub (because word gets round) gives the rabbit the pint and the toastie. The rabbit consumes them and leaves. The next night, the pub is packed, in walks the rabbit and says "A pint of beer and a Ham and Cheese …

Hi, I am very interested in buying a Nissan 300ZX. I am viewing one next week. See car: click to see car What should I ask the seller? What sort of things should I be looking for? I found out that the car has been recently imported. December 2005! Should I be worried buying a car that has recently been imported? I thought Japan had the best MOT's in the world costing approx £2k every 2 years! Also, what sort of service history am I likely to see? Would it all be in Japanese and mean nothing? With the strict MOT tests, surely the car should be mint? Thanks Colin

Was driving home from work today, minding my own business, when I heard an almighty great bang from the back of the car which then threw itself sideways. I managed to pull into a nearby car park, where I saw the rear offside tyre was flat, I took it off and was greeted by this:

My 300 is off the road on SORN ATM. I was wondering if any long term owners know of any symptoms that the car may suffer from being stood for around 6 months and is there a proceedure to follow to prevent any adverse affects. I start the car twice weekly and let it run for about 20 mins each time.

Okay when i got the car i ran it till the petrol light came on solid without flashing then topped it up with 20 quid of normal unleaded then drove like an old person to see the most i could get out of it and then both my bro and dad blew about a 5ers worth out the back on the straights. Astonishingly managed to get 130 miles on 20 quids worth of petrol!!!! Then just to make sure it wasn't a fluke topped it up with 40 today to go to peterborough way and back and managed 134 quid, using very little boost, almost none, never revving it past 3.5k and did that on less than 20 quids worth???? What's going on? That's like 35mpg! from a twin turbo????? My que…
