General Discussions - Non 300ZX

:dance: I got my sunvisor tvs today, bought them off ebay, only £134 for the pair inc p&p. Bought them on sunday morning and they arrived yesterday from Hong Kong! They have 9" screens and do look pretty big in the place of the old ones. I'll put some piccies up later. One problem tho, does anyone know how to fit them? :confused:

Decided to remove the grey leather interior, as it was mismatched and had to be retrimmed againm so decided to go for a red leather instead. Pete@NipponAuto came back down and fitted it all - Gotta wait a month for the seats now though :( Seats are gonna be red leather, black bolsters and head rests, red stictching and the Z logo. Only thing Im not sure about is the dash dial top cover being red, may try a black one on that.

In my kitchen still a lot of work to be done ,just had to see want they looked like :tongue:

so what do you feed ur Zed ? :duffer: (was talkin last night.... and wondered if i'm the only cheap skate who goes for the unleaded option... :x: )

Everything has been going fine. Till now Brother went to start the zed this morning and the starter remained engaged, while removing the starter i found this, has anyone ever seen this happen before as i havent. :eek: :shock:

OK guys 'n' girls I appreciate the fact this is a 300 ZX forum but I can't seem to find a Cinquecento one lol Does anyone know anything about the sunroof on these cars? specifically the one that only goes up and down by using a kind of twisty dial type thing? The one in my mates car is broken and I need to know if this is a known fault? Any help greatly appreciated!

I can't do it, got to keep her (may reconsider when I move house) but even at a bargain price no one was interested! I've spent so much time, money and effort on her and the wanabe newcomers who want a Z don't appreciate this and expect to pay peanuts so as far as I am concerned they can go out and buy a shed and suffer the consequences! A bit harsh I know but hey, that's life.

:dance: :dance: :dance: :nana2: :nana2: :nana2: just passed MOT thought it would fail on shockers and emissions cos it just scraped through last time, but it flew through it!! :cry: :cry: :cry: found the biggest oil leak ever, alternator, pullies, and hoses are absolutley matted in oil. i knew i had a small leak believe it is the cam seals but fooookin hell, hopefully get it sorted next month. as i was plannin on havin belt and seals changed anyway. but all in all im quite chuffed :dance:

little tip for those of us with leather seats with the hairline crazing.. get some shoe polish, put the tin on the floor and put a lighter or match to the polish and let it light up for a few secs, then put top on to put out,( dont click on just rest over top so theres no air getting to it. the polish is now liquid, get rag, and fold a couple of times like a french polish ball, soak it in polish and rub into seats, when its in the cracks and the white crazing has gone, get a clean rag and buff away, no more noticeable crazing. little tip i learned a while ago!

Nice meeting up with you, it's good to put faces to names. Had a great time, nice to see a few lovely Zed's in the car park. Yamipdog that car is sweet Apache hope we didn't blind you with our lights, yes we know they're a little bright. :D Hellraiser we are bringing the LED's to JAE so you can have a good look and pick some.
