well here she is in all her glory. unfortunately i have let the zed go, i have spent all year working on her and she was sucking too much cash out of me day in day out. i have chosen the lotus as i have always liked them, its a 1983 turbo esprit with only 47k on the clock full history since the day it was sold! all services done rigorously and by lotus specialists so all is ok, im in the middle of changing the exhaust system for a newer sport system, upgrading brakes and re-doing all the pipework and fuel lines. i did have fun in the zed but now its time for me to try something else out, and its cheaper to run and insure than the zed, and as i am now o…

I'm thinking of getting one for commuting to work as the road I'll be travelling on get's pretty congested, and the zed'll cost a fortune in fuel. Anyone recommend any decent ones please? I want to get something second hand where I can do most, or even all, of the maintenance myself. Thanks, Bart

As above..... ......don't worry, I have not sold the ZX, I had a mad moment and decided to replace Julia's car. I left a deposit on a nice 2002 silver Rav-4 NRG, 52k miles 1 owner and FTSH for just £8k. Plus I managed to get a reasonable PX price on our old Rav too. Just need to visit DVLA next week to transfer my reg number to the new car :cool: Insurance is dead cheap too - done the "multi car/driver policy" with Admiral. If I insure 2 cars together it works out only £231 for the Rav and £290 for the SLK, fully comp with 2 protected NCBs and both of us drving either car :hyper: :cool: Richard

well here i go spouting off again, ive got a theory here i go, ive just seen nitro pow's thread about his new bling (looks fantastic BTW) but what ive wondered is would all this extra chroming of heat displacing parts not just make them even hotter, ive always wondered waht an extra coating would do to heat displacment (if thats the correct word to use lol)

Since school I have always tried to bend over and help people, be liked etc etc. All it has got me over the past year is nothing but stress. I am sick and tired of telling people what to do, only to have them ignore me, get it wrong and then end up doing what I said in the 1st place. Worse offender is my flipping wife. Theres a supprise. So weve just had a flaming row over my "new" attitude. today makin the most of the good weather round here i seen 2 350z an i put my hand up an flashed my lights an they were havin none of it. i think its a shame that the 350z dosent have the same cult followin that the z32 has. i no there are exeptions ie: debz. i dont think ive passed a z32 who hasnt waved its a shame the 350 aint the same :cry: opinions?????

I'm sure many of you have been in similar position. I currently went on a out of control spending spree on the Zed. Rebuilding engine (final stages) Hybrid turbo's Adjustable tension rods Adjustable front & rear camber arms RDA slotted rotors all round Custom clustor & heaps of other small items that quickly add up Oh, & my insurance is due! Needles to say, I don't have the money to hit the town & won't have a sometime.

Well due to Big Witch spiltting up and there being no big BBQ at my place this year I've decided to hold a Fancy Dress Halloween PARTY! Your all of course welcome, loads of beer and food on site. My daily run about has started to really overheat. I fill the expansion tank with water, but within a few minutes it's gurgling away and the temperature gauge has shot up to the top. There's also no heat coming out of the heater, or there's a little bit for a few minutes then blows cold air. Any ideas?

Can anyone tell me if there is any other recommended damper springs other than Eibach??????????????? :duffer:
