well i was taking the exhaust off the car today, got the silencer off after coating the bolts etc with wd40 for the past few days. came off a treat, next is to remove the feed pipes back to the gaskets ( wastegate side and turbo outlet) pull them out and clean and re-coat them with aluminium paint rated to above the operating temps that the exhuast will handle. went to take the exhaust bracket off only to find one bugger of a bolt tucked behind so thats still on there. anyway the point of the story... only nearly chopped my damn finger off at the knuckle!!!!!!!!!!! went to help a friend down the road and using one of his tool knifes it unlocked and folded on my…

To end my already crap week, after all the poxy copper pipe and injury. Hi, Got a problem with some LV transformers as they keep failing :( I have connected them into the 5 amp lighting circuit and they work for a while and then just give up. I've included the instructions for the transformer if that helps. Cheers Vijay

Hello Everybody As many of you may know I have had nothing but problems since buying my car last October. In fact its only done a couple of hundred miles and cost me a fortune! well here she is in all her glory. unfortunately i have let the zed go, i have spent all year working on her and she was sucking too much cash out of me day in day out. i have chosen the lotus as i have always liked them, its a 1983 turbo esprit with only 47k on the clock full history since the day it was sold! all services done rigorously and by lotus specialists so all is ok, im in the middle of changing the exhaust system for a newer sport system, upgrading brakes and re-doing all the pipework and fuel lines. i did have fun in the zed but now its time for me to try something else out, and its cheaper to run and insure than the zed, and as i am now o…
