General Discussions - Non 300ZX

has anyone dealt with these before as im after a twin turbo engine and they have some in stock.

im force-teaching myself SQL server but i cant even get started cos i dont seem to have a server :confused: if i create a blank .UDL file, then go to it's properties, then connections tab, then try to click on "select or enter a server name", the system stops for a few seconds then i get the error message: "Error enumerating data servers. Enumerator reports: 'unspecified error'." i need to be able to connect to a server before i can do anything else :headvswal :headvswal ive got Windows XP Home edition with SP2. i thought that basic data access came with it!

A window closure module to my Scorpion alarm system. Didn't cost much, got it from ebay, fitted it this afternoon, and it works a treat. Although the summer is coming to an end shortly anyway, so probably won't get much use out of it now, but it's there for when i want it. For anyone who is interested, these unit will fit to any alarm system, as long as there is an output wire (either +ve or -ve). Oh, of course you do need electric windows, so no problem with the Zed then ;) All very straight forward in the fitting department, as long as you know where the alarm control unit is located in your car, took me a while to find mine :headvswal

well the time had come to move on... so i sold my Z last weekend... :cry: Got £7000 for her but had more of a loan as id spent 4k on her in the past year on mods! but its not all bad as i pick up a TVR cerbera on Wed just wanted to say a big thankyou to everyone who has helped me out for the past few years its been a fantastic 4 years with her and ill probably get another in a few years. definatly one of the best (and funniest at times!) clubs iv ever been a menber of.... so once again THANKYOU ill still be on hear sometimes (probably moaning about the TVR breaking down every 1000 miles!)

been looking for months for a front bumper, so many to choose from quite like the 99 oem bumper but everyone has it, nothing wrong with that just want to be a bit different. With my desktop. I posted a couple of days ago that I'd come across some Windows Themes (here , well I'm using one of them at the moment, but didn't like the wallpaper that was with it. Well I've found this one, of a 280ZX, which fits in with the overall effect of the whole theme. BTW, I want one of these 280's, I especially think this one is absolutely beautiful (All credit to it's owner PBT1 from the Z Club :bow: ) :cool:

After a break from the project, last week I got back into the swing of things: finished the plug and made the first negative mould (see below...rough on the outside, smooth on the inside...armadillo! :D). In the process of making a base for it then I'll be laying up again to make the first copy. Then it's be a case of grafting it to an OEM bumper, making the fog/air ducts, tidying it up then it's ready for the final moulding. If you say it quick enough it doesn't sound that bad! :D

just a quick question guys, is the ride of softest setting on the kyb agx similar to how a stock shock feels?

EDIT** Update in post 19 on page 2 of this thread!! As, unfortunately, the Group-Buy has now failed (NO Navans are available at the moment anywhere) I'm still on the lookout for one of these shifters. If anyone comes across one, or more, of these for sale, please let me know (cash waiting). Two traders on here have already tried, and I'm now told that there arn't any in Japan. I've also done an ebay search and come up dry. So it would be very much appreciated if anyone can put me onto one of these :bow: :bow: TIA

Literally! I had a restless night yesterday and I just remembered what it was... I dreamt I was in my Zed, trundling along through a village doing about 30; it was raining but other than that all was fine.
