General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Just came online to check up on this 300ZX meet just outside Los Angeles in Saturday and thought I'd stop and say hello. Only seen 3 300ZXs, but seen quite a number of the Z31s and also the 280ZXs. There are 3 of them on the way to the beach alone. It's pretty hot here, but there's a nice cool breeze of the Pacific Ocean that keeps the coastal areas cooler than the inland bits. San Diego's a really nice place. Saw a Porsche Carerra GT yesterday. Never seen one in real life. Tried to get a photo of it but couldn't in time.

I was coming home from my mates house the other night down the country roads with a car in front of me. The car in front went over some roadkill and by the time i saw what it was id gone over it at about 60, it made the biggest bang id ever heard, i thought it just hit the exhausts and carried on. I pulled in to a petrol station and looked around my car, the back bumper had been split in some places and it was covered in blood!! God knows what it was, i went to see if it was there yesterday and there was nothing, no blood or anything. Pics below with the blood wiped off.

Just looking on number plate sites found cool one for me SU55 STU, havent got the £1750 at the mo, But found E 1 and E 2, Both £500,000. Why the hell would you spend that amount on a number plate. If i had that kind of money to throw away on a plate, i can think of loads of better things to blow it on. To some money is clearly no object........ Also oap's who drive brand new volvos, with their wife sitting in the back, wearing driving gloves and a the big style dark sunglasses should be banned form using the road between the hours of 12:01am and 23:59pm AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Thinking of asking for some when i take the twin tubby up for its new exhaust. What sort of... * power gain * performance change * sound change ...will i get with them? Will i still suffer smoking turbos from lack of back pressure even with sports cats?

Anyone on the site into mixing there own mp3s been looking at loadza websites that do the software but they all want cash for trial versions and they look pretty naff! so if any of you know of a decent software off the shelf or to downlad giz a clue!! cheerz gang

Went to my local Shell station this morning to fill up. Parked at the pump I always fill up at and it had V-Power on the pump nozzle and 99.9 as the price, I thought, yeah, ok, so filled up. Went in and payed and asked the guy behind the counter if it was V-Power or Optimax, he said 'no, not V-Power, still Optimax but I'm not supposed to tell you that' and went on saying it's V-Power all over Europe now. So all they have done is relabled all the Optimax pumps to V-Power pumps :rant: Surley the can get done for selling an incorrectly labled product ?

Guys can anyone help me out with a dilemma iv got I downloaded some music videos and wanna play them in my Zeds dvd player but the software that iv got doesint seem to work properly and only a few of the clips seem to load on and the rest dont The software that im currently using is called "VSO ConvertXtoDvd".........to be frank its crap..........what can i use to convert files to dvd spec so i can burn them and play them in the car.............would be good if it was a all in one like the "VSO ConvertXtoDvd" application iv got Thanks for any help

Spent the weekend at the launch of two different car related shops/centres The saturday was spent at Caraudiosecurity.com's massive new opening of their showroom near heathrow..........were may i say i got some absolute bargains.............its a shame i never took my camera on this day as there were some seriously nice motors there such as the Kicker Hummer's and loads more...... I'm so excited hubbie has just informed me we are gonna get a joint car to add to our collection of Jap cars. He's going to import a Mazda Cosmo there are only about 20 in the whole country. Fast as Fook 2+2 turbo Rotary Engined 2 door salon car. I saw two go down the drag strip at Rotorstock they are awesome. Well, its happend :cry: what a week i have just had. First my wife (soon x) and kid left me on friday to go and live in uk. Then the next day i got stopped for speeding by the German police, then the Zed decided to throw a piston ring. To make things worse 2 days later i got speed flashed in Holland and just to finish it off i have been told im going to Afganistan on monday FFS :cry: :cry: I know there are people worse off than me but dont you ever feel like the world is against you :rant: :headvswal
