More than one million* British motorists are now on the brink of losing their licences, according to research by Direct Line Car Insurance. There are currently 6,000 speed cameras monitoring drivers in the UK and currently 4.5 million** drivers have points on their licence for speeding. One in five (21 per cent) of these drivers are one conviction away from a driving ban – an increase of four per cent in the past 12 months. This means in the last year alone, over 215,000*** extra drivers have put themselves just one conviction away from a driving ban. And this could affect the livelihood of 14 per cent of drivers who would lose their jobs if their lic…

Chaps and Chapettes Im completely stumped and dont know WTF is going on. Ive just done a plug and and oil change. Its now only running on 2 cylinders, cyclinders 1 and 2 arnt running. Now this is what ive tried, ive put the old plugs back in, runs the same. Ive done a spark test with all 4 new and old, and they all spark well with that lovely white/blue spark. Its not a coil as 1 and 2 are different coil packs. The firing order is correct as i did 1 plug change at a time. Im pretty certain that its getting fuel as the plugs are wet. Ive done nothing to compremise the compression of the motor as ive only done a plug change and there in at the corre…

As above!! It's been a nice sunny day here (so far), so I had the ZX cleaned on the way back from Sainsbury's this morning. When I got home I gave it a quick polish to finish it off and left it shining on the drive as it looked so good :hyper: But I have just looked out the window to see a sudden downpour  Should've put it back in the garage when I had finished  Richard :mac1:

'Ello all! I will soon be off to Kuala Lumpur to attend my best friend's wedding - I am really looking forward to some time away! I am the "Master of Ceremony" and as part of my duties I am giving a speech (well, a few actually). As half the attendees are Malay and speak little or no English I was hoping to pass a few comments in Bahassa. So, to the point: does anyone know someone from Malaysia who would be willing to translate a few paragraphs from English to Malay and possibly coach me briefly on some of the pronounciation? Thought I'd ask here before going down the route of approaching a language department at the University in Birmingham. Any/all…

A young man named Gordon bought a donkey from an old farmer for £100. The farmer agreed to deliver the donkey the next day, but when the farmer drove up he said,”Sorry son, but I have some bad news... The donkey is on my truck, but unfortunately he's dead." Gordon replied, "Well then, just give me my money back." The farmer said, "I can't do that, because I've spent it already." Gordon said, "OK then, well just unload the donkey anyway." The farmer asked, "What are you going to do with him?" Gordon answered, "I'm going to raffle him off." To which the farmer exclaimed, "Surely you can't raffle off a dead donkey!" But Gordon,…

Can't believe it 2nd time i've been made redundant in a year! :( My new job was going really well, got on with everyone, really enjoyed it, been there 7 months just starting to make decent money in commissions. Lunchtime yesterday the MD walks in asks us all to go downstairs as she needs to have "a chat" with us all, get down there and we get introduced to a bloke from a corporate recovery company and he then tells us how the company has gone into receivership and he's dealing with the insolvency and as of that minute our contracts were terminated and we were all out of job & just to add insult to injury payday should have been today and we didn't get paid!…
