Can't believe it 2nd time i've been made redundant in a year! :( My new job was going really well, got on with everyone, really enjoyed it, been there 7 months just starting to make decent money in commissions. Lunchtime yesterday the MD walks in asks us all to go downstairs as she needs to have "a chat" with us all, get down there and we get introduced to a bloke from a corporate recovery company and he then tells us how the company has gone into receivership and he's dealing with the insolvency and as of that minute our contracts were terminated and we were all out of job & just to add insult to injury payday should have been today and we didn't get paid! :shock:…

Hi all, Anyone got any suggestions on backup software? I've got Norton Ghost already but just wondered if there's anything better. I normally backup up the complete drive but is there anything that just backs up new files?? Vijay

I've got a problem with my camera connecting to my PC and just need to know if there is different speed connections for USB 2.0. The manufacturer for my camera is telling me there is a USB 2.0 and a USB 2.0 High Speed. The USB coonection in my PC is USB 2.0 with a transfer rate of 480mbps. Cheers Vijay

talk about bad luck yesterday morning the missus and i got up to find that some thieving scrote had been in our garden stolen some plants a bird feeder and our bin ffs then when the wife got to work ( shes a manager at 4 bail hostels for women ) she found one of the residents had croaked it sometime over the weekend i had a call from the brother in law to saw he suspected that my headgasket on my zed had gone ( its already in for cambelt water pump and a water leak as well as crank oil seal ) then on the way home from work i had a woman slam into the back of me doing about 40 mph ( i was stationary ) totaled her car and made a real mess of the 07 plate zafira turbo …

Just got off the phone to a friend of mine who runs a recording studio. He's trying to upgrade his studio computer to a dual processor jobbie and it's now having a fit. Wouldn't be a problem but he's got the Prince's Trust coming over to have a chat with him about funding and he'd ideally like to show his set-up running without a hitch.
