Well Peter and the gang have really outdone themselves this time. :hyper: It's the 2nd time my car has been to PPS now, and although it's a 600 mile round trip it's worth every mile. I have to say not only can Peter produce amazing body mods and superior paint jobs, You da man Peter. Also how many bodyshop owners would book you into a hotel for the night and meet you at 11pm at the body shop so you can drop the car off and then escort you to your hotel and make sure you are settled in before driving home to his own bed at midnight on a Friday night ? Well Peter did . What can I say  top bloke 'ol Peter ;) Also now thanks to Martin, PPS can no…

Just got my new Nokia 6100 mobile yesterday, and it's got the colour screen. As Clarkey, very kindly, sent me the Z logo for my old 6310i last year, i wanted something special on my new screen. Don't know if any of you know of places yourself, but I found a site by the name of http://www.mobicust.com and they will transfer a pic of your own direct onto your phone. As long as it's on your pc you just up-load it to them, then ring them up (preferably from a land-line) then they send it to your mobile. Simple!! I used this pic of my Z, and it worked quite well, as you can resize it on the site before you make your mind up. PLEASE SEE MESSAGE 11 BELOW!!! …

Just a quick word of warning to those of you who may consider buying a second hand engine. One of our customers supplied a second hand engine from a well know engine specialist which apparantly had been compression tested. We took out his old engine and replaced it with the new one. Firstly the turbo`s let go straight away so we put his old units on the engine. At this point we spoke to the company and advised them of the situation, they didn`t seem to keen to help the customer out, so we put the engine back in started up and then the head gasket let go. Expensive. We rang the company who again told us they compression test all there engines so we checked it out and found…

One of the things Mac and I think we are missing off the traders section is a tyre supplier. which would you guys prefer an internet supplier where you would buy your tyres and sort the fitting etc out yourself, or mainstream tyre centres who will supply and fit your tyres for you. Ryan

I took my Corsa (Daily driver) for an MOT last week and it failed on a few little things. Handbrake cable, Rear Wheel bearing, Wobbly head light, 2 front tyres need replacing, (One said to be worn, OK, and said to have "Something stuck on it") Number plate bulb blown, I didnt agree with the 2 tyres needing replacing, but 1 did. I fixed the Handbrake cable, rear bearing, wobbly head light and replaced 1 of the two tyre, (the tyre which I thought was OK I left on), and the number plate bulb. I took it some where else to get MOTd again as it was over a week from when it was last done and it failed on, Welding on one of the sills Rear brake …

OK I'm still suffering from massive adrenaline rush but here goes....... Brands Hatch track day yesterday - OH MY GOD !!!!!!! It was fan-frigging-tastic. To drive my car, without thought for cameras, pedestrians etc etc was absolutely brilliant. It's standard J-spec with a Scorpion exhaust and a manual gearbox, courtesy of Luke, but even so it was awesomely fast. And it gripped and turned like I couldn't believe. I managed to get 120 along the start/finish straight ! The only downside to the day was that the car dropped the bolt holding the gearstick to the selector rod - I found the bold and it has simply sheared under load. It was a bit hairy through…

Yes or no? Had a complaint that it's unfair  Ok just to explain.................................. Luke calls me on a weekly basis and tells me what new products he will be selling,Luke paid his trader subscription fees but he don't post he uses his section more like a banner add (thats his choice) I offered to do a couple of group buys for him on new products, now as trader liason officer I will do the same for ANY trader on here if they were to ask me thats all you have to do. Just for the record,I offered to do two or three at the very max Its not a weekly special or anything like that.
