General Discussions - Non 300ZX

My weekend has been rather a bit hectic and tiring. Had to get the Zed ready for transporting all the way to Preston to Duffer's place. Got up on Saturday morning and headed towards East London and started adjusting the suspension which took me loads of time whilst at the same time removing my rear spacers. The suspension was really hard as you dont have much space to turn the c spanner as its a bit akward, my arm was killing me by the end of it!!! After getting that done i tried F U C King up the PTU but couldint get the damn Boost pipe off (my inexperience shows here) a quick call to Stuart (SMW1) who may i say was a great help, and i asked him if he coul…

I thought I'd post up some pictures as I know how you guys like pictures :dance: I removed the dial cluster from the car Fitted Chrome Dial rings (available from Danny - DTA Motorsport) I then fitted the Dials which were supplied by Vijay Fitted it all back into the car and tested out the colour changes and dimmer. The only problem I had was getting the the needle of the two large dials though the small circle of the new dial face. Since I've had my Zed it's had leaky targas. Not too bad but if it rained all night I'd be driving to work sitting in a damp patch (if you know what i mean :rolleyes: ) Well, last weekend i was tinkering with the car and noticed an old tube of silicone in my toolbox so i thought I'd try applying a very light smearing on the seals with my finger (to protect them as much as anything) and today when I got in the car(it pi$$ed down all night up here!!) not even a single drip!! :dance: It's worth a try IMHO, but remember to let it dry properly before you replace the targas!! :rolleyes: Cheers,Glenn.....

Guys Are these available for a J-spec TT ? I imagine that the ones on US-eBay are no good because of the speedo etc. Any alternatives ? Unique Autosports in Australia have one but it's got a 300kph speedo...... Mark

First pic of my re-trim :D. Probably may re-do a couple of bits, as I'm not tatally happy. Especially as this vinyl is very stiff to work with. Am unhappy with the center console lid and the rear passenger side panel. Anyway see what you think, as I'm doing the drivers door tomorrow afternoon.

Well have finally got a z (well not got it yet but a done deal) its a JDM Import Auto 2+2 (Shock Horror!!! :D finally saw the light) in bayside blue, twin high polished 4.5" stainless pipes, hard pipe kit, and the expensive shift stick(not the razo one!! the one that looks like a joystick), scarab front bumper, and split rim forged alloys!!! just waiting for the docs to come through from dvla so will be posting me cheque off tonight for membership cant wait to get her on the road!!!

After this evenings debacle and with the prospect of this thread probably getting deleted i'm trying to get a feeler for how people actually feel about this club.
