Quite a few people have had theirs written off, so I should count myself lucky. Monday I was behind a skip and before I realised the tit hadn't covered his load of small and not so small stones, I had a chunk out my windscreen. Tuesday, I came out onto a roundabout and the tw*t in the truck should have been behind the 'keep clear' lines. He didn't look and rolled forward doing this to my back end as I tried to get out his way. I know it's not a lot, but I have been quoted £500 to put it right. Thursday, I had a nice long screw....through my brand new Goodyear F1. But of course when I looked in the back, where was the locking nut key? At home. One…

    1. People who point at their wrist while asking for the time. I know where my watch is pal, where the hell is yours? Do I point at my crotch when I ask where's the toilet? 2. People who are willing to get off their ass to search the entire room for the TV remote because they refuse to walk to the TV and change the channel manually. 3. When people say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too". Damn straight! What good is having a cake if you can't eat it? 4. When people say "it's always the last place you look". Of course it is. Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they? …

Ive got Bridgestones on the back, they stick like glue to the road,(or did!) but recently have been twitching / sliding a bit in 1st / 2nd gear full power ( on dry roads). I dont trust them enough to power thru roundabouts anymore. Its deffo the tyres and not suspension related. They're 9mnths old and done about 10k, and have about 3mm even tread left all over. Question is, does the rubber compound get harder as the tyre wears, giving less grip? I would have thought not. The less tread the more grip on a dry road isnt it? a bit like F1 racing slick tyres. Any of u guys found the same? Was gonna let them wear to the legal limit but think i'll change 'em…

While I'm doing my re-trim, and I'm starting on the steering columm lower cowl, thought I'd change the rear fog lamp switch. Main reason, as you can see in the pic, is that it is ****ing horrible:D. A huge ugly rocker switch, OK so the one I'm putting in place of it is still ugly, but at least it's a litle smaller and a little un-obtrusive. Does anyone know where I can get hold of a decent looking switch, about the same size as my new one? Mainly because the quality of the new one isnt all that good, but I cant find anything better around here. Dave PS - And I must stop drawing on the table :D lol

Stu, Been looking at your site, great m8. One problem though you've just cost me some more money now!! I've decided that I'm gona give the interior a retrim, thanks to your write-up. :D Looks straight forward, but saying that i'm taking it easy and taking my time. Thanks very much, this has given me the confidence to try it for myself. The only thing now is that it'll have to have a full leather re-trim for the seats when it's finished :D Will post some pics when I've somthing to show. Dave

Hi there, I'm on a very long holiday in Canada with my girlfriend (we are both British) and we are about to buy a car a drive across the US. We have mostly been looking at boring sensible cars but recently looked a 1986 300ZX Turbo and it felt really solid and is priced at $2000 about £800. We only really need it to last 2 months and about 7000 miles but I've heard they are buily like brick sh!t houses! Any truth to this? What sort of things should I look for? Sorry for the vague questions but does anyone think this is a practical car for a 7000 mile road trip? Just the two of us so luggage space isn't a big deal. Thanks people, Ross

Flippin eck what a morning. Went to a tyre place in Benfleet to get a new set on the front. My mate and I wotched serveral guys run round the car doing the tyre stuff, that they do. Then ... with the wheels back on the car, one of them lets the car down, kerrunch!!! Someone had move the blocks from under the tyres and the car bottoms out on the jack, crunching my sideskirt. The mechanic who looks like a div anyway, throws his gloves down and walks off in a huff. My mate and I run over to the car, and I (in one of those Ripley's Believe it or not stories) lift the zed up with my bare hands and my mate pulls the jack out. I was lost for words, fortuna…

A Swiss guy, looking for directions, pulls up at a bus stop where two Englishmen are waiting. "Entschuldigung, koennen Sie Deutsch sprechen?" he says. The two Englishmen just stare at him. "Excusez-moi, parlez vous Francais?" The two continue to stare. "Parlare Italiano?" No response, "Hablan ustedes Espanol?" Still nothing. The Swiss guy drives off, extremely disgusted. The first Englishman turns to the second and says, "Y'know, maybe we should learn a foreign language...." "Why?" says the other, "That bloke knew four languages, and it didn't do him any good."#

  25. 10 Reasons Why "Scooby Doo" Was A Drug-Influenced Cartoon Scooby and Shaggy were always being freaked out by ghosts and ghouls, but no one else saw them before Scooby and Shaggy. Scooby and Shaggy always had the munchies. Shaggy always thought Scooby was talking and was the only one who could hear him and understand him. Scooby and Shaggy always fell into the trap that was intended for the monster because they were tripping over themselves and couldn't see where they were going. They were always deluded and warped by thinking they were dressed up in some costumes and entertained the monster. Shaggy always said "like" to the extreme, i.e.…
