Went upto Engine Advantages today as Pete has lost my dyno chart. Have to say they're very good, the guy just popped out of the car he was tuning and did me a re-print. Probably the first time I have gone somewhere in my 300zx and not had to wait ages (top bloke) Anyhew here are the dyno results, the first being from the SE RR day and the second from the other week, think Si's was done on the same day. You'll see bizarrely enough the car ends up with less power (but with no det). But it feels much better, Pete said to me last night that the car was overfuelling which is why it felt like it was holding back all the time. I don't mind having the less pow…

Was walking on the pavement at the side of the road, about 3 metres in front there was a woman walking also. Some pr!ck in a Saxo decided to drive into the slush/snow at the side (deliberately I might add!) & soaks me and the woman from head to toe . I felt more for the woman than myself although my leather jacket is probably fooked! One good thing though is that I know the car, it belongs to a student in the department in which I work, so I rekon he's gonna have a flat tyre or two pretty soon! either that or a :mac1:

This can be done - it takes about 20 mins to work out or 15 mins if your clever like me ;) In a street there are 5 houses painted 5 different colors. In each house lives a person of a different nationality. The 5 homeowners each drink a different beverage, smoke a different brand of cigar, and keep a different pet. The question is: Who keeps the fish? HINTS: 1. The Brit lives in the red house. 2. The Swede has a dog. 3. The Dane drinks tea. 4. The green house is on the left of the white house. 5. The owner of the green house drinks coffee. 6. The person who smokes pall mall has birds. 7. The owner of the yellow house s…

Long winded but worth a read. Well it made me chuckle :D ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Actual letter of resignation from an employee at Zantex Computers, USA, to her boss, who apparently resigned very soon afterwards! Dear Mr. Baker, As a graduate of an institution of higher education, I have a few Very basic expectations. Chief among these is that my direct superiors Have an intellect that ranges above the common ground squirrel. After Your consistent and annoying harassment of my coworkers and me during the commission of our duties, I can only surmise that you are one of the few true geneti…

A blonde police officer pulls over a blonde in a convertible sports car for speeding. She walks over to the car and asks the blonde driver for some I.D. The blonde convertible driver searches through her purse in vain. Finally she asks, "What does it look like?" The blonde police officer tells her, "It's that thing with your picture on it." The blonde driver searches for a few more seconds, pulls out her compact, opens it, and sure enough sees her picture. She hands the compact to the blonde cop. The blonde cop looks at the compact for a few seconds, then rolls her…

Marine Corp's General Reinwald was interviewed on the radio the other day and you have to read his reply to the lady who interviewed him concerning guns and children. Regardless of how you feel about gun laws you gotta love this!!!! This is one of the best comeback-lines of all time. It is a portion of National Public Radio (NPR) interview between a female broadcaster and US Marine Corps General Reinwald who was about to sponsor a Boy Scout Troop visiting his military installation. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: So, General Reinwald, what things are you going to teach these young boys when they visit your base? GENERAL REINWALD: We're going to teach them clim…

Ok Stuart its time to show how good you really are :D The idea of this thread is that people come up with situations and Stuart (aka SRRAE) comes up with the 'what happened there?' answer :D Easy really... No offence Stu, just wanna see how good you really are ;)

Why do garages always quote Mr Joe Public a price for something excluding VAT?? Most of their customers are not VAT registered companies but individuals so cant claim it back - so why do they give you the net figure??? I wouldn't expect Mr Newsagent down the road to say his mars bars were 29p plus VAT...so why are garages so different?? Just a gripe ;) Pete

GIRL'S DIARY Sunday 11th May 2003. Saw him in the evening and he was acting really strangely. I went shopping in the afternoon with the girls and I did turn up a bit late so I thought it might be that. The bar was really crowded and loud so I suggested we go somewhere quieter to talk. He was still very subdued and distracted so I suggested we go somewhere nice to eat. All through dinner he just didn't seem himself; he hardly laughed, and didn't seem to be paying any attention to me or to what I was saying. I just knew that something was wrong. He dropped me back home and I wondered if he was going to come in; he hesitated, but followed. I asked him again…

Try driving an auto FFS - you'll never want a manwell again in most cases - ppl in this country are so narrow minded - Christ, even the yanks are ahead of us on this 1 !! Manwells suit track cars/kit cars IMHO. The 300ZXTT suits an autobox, being a large GTO. Unless you are drag racing or going for a top speed record, buy an auto - so much easier, and faster to 100MPH. Is changing gears fun FFS  - if it is, u r seriously sad   How many are going to mod to a BHP which the autobox can't cope with - not many I reckon - it costs too much. So, get a life and buy MY auto :nono:
