If you aren't into the foosball look away now! ROFL :) Quality game from our boys this afternoon, in the early few minutes I thought that Wayne Rooney was nothing more than a jumped up Mr. Potato Head but boy that kid is good! Bring on Croatia! ;) Well done England, top perfomance IMHO.

Having a little think! I presume that boost controllers are in mainly two parts, the electrical control and the mechanical control!! A lot of people have PDA's, with substantial computing power! So in effect all you would need is the mechanical control of the boost, and a link to your PDA with a programme written for boost control!! Hell there is probably enough space on there for timing control and a turbo timer!

Not a swear word. So here goes one for the English. Sing it loud and proud boys. And did those feet in ancient time Walk upon England's mountains green And was the holy lamb of God On England's pleasant pastures seen And did the countenance divine Shine forth upon our clouded hills And was Jerusalem builded there Among those dark Satanic mills Bring me my bow (my bow) of burning gold Bring me my arrows of desire Bring me my spears o'clouds unfold Bring me my chariot of fire I will not cease from mental fight Nor shall my (my) sword sleep in hand 'Til we have built Jerusalem In England's green and pleasant land 'Til we have built J…

I've been doing a bit of shopping around on some of the other car forums and quite a few seem to have more female members. How come this site lacks feminine interest. I mean No groupies FFS. OK I know there are one or two of the guys on here who'll qualify for the wet T shirt competition and should be our winning mambers. Seriously though where's the totty?

Guys, I need some advice!!! The car is about finished, but now that the rear wheel spacers are on, it is apparent that the wheels (19" khans) do not quite fill the rear arches. It has been suggested that I lower it - about 30-40mm rear and 20mm front. I spoke to luke at Z centre and he advised me not to do it. I realise that lowering the back only will make the point to the sky, and that lowering the front a bit will make speed bumps a bit more of an issue (especially as the viper bumper is pretty low anyway)!! I know there are some knowledgeable peeps here and am hoping for some advice on what to do, where to get them, how much and the potential pro…

It's just been reported that one of the French football players has failed a drugs and alcohol test yesterday (Monday) after the match. If this is confirmed as positive, under World Football Federation rules, paragraph 6 sub section 2e, France will forfeit their 3 points and they'll be appointed to their opponents, England.

Hi all another update on the respect other road users have for the ZX..... on hols in Cornwall last week, I lost count of how many cars on A & B roads pulled over to the side or into laybys to let me pass, when they saw the ZX looming up in their mirror..... :D Also on M5 in Devon a couple of teenage girls were standing on a bridge spitting or giving cars "the finger" as they passed under. As I approached in the ZX, they simply waved and gave the thumbs-up  ..... .....shame they didn't get their tits out, though :( Richard :smw:

Currently looking into the feasability of getting some sort of computer set up into a Zed. Its primary function would be data logging, running tuning and diagnostic software but it would also be used to store and play music (with or without a head unit). I would probably remove the gauges in the glove box and use the space to house the screen but not entirley sure how it would mount in there...it would need to be movable enough to be angled for viewing I imagine. Some sort of mini-keyboard interface would be ideal to. Got a few ideas at the moment but as there are a lot of knowledgeable IT guys on here I thought I'd ask for help and suggestions! :) Cheers, Leigh…

After the Z passed it's MOT, I decided to then take the Rover to the same place seeing as the owner also had a Z(Silver SWB manual 37k miles - VGC). Anyway, all was ok apart from the emmisions. He tried and tried but could not get the CO below 0.6 and it should be 0.3. Decided to try running some injector cleaner through and also do an oil change. Apart from changing the plugs, can anyone suggest any other options. I am trying to avoid changing the cat so that I can get another year out of it. I have heard that there is some cat cleaner you can run in your fuel but I've never seen anything like that before. Cheers Cos
