  7. I have a job interview tomorrow. It's for the post of road test editor on 'Car' magazine! I'm not sure I have much chance of getting it but you never know. Anyway... Does anyone read 'Car' and have any thoughts about it? I'd be interested in what you think of the mag and what you reckon a 'typical Car reader' thinks too. What would really improve the road tests? Different cars? Different ways they're road tested? What other motoring mags do you like and why? What annoys you in magazines? Any thoughts on any motoring titles would be really, really, really useful. Thanks folk

I was driving home from the gym with me mate, being wet roads wanted to show him how it handled going sideways, I turned left into a wide open road as soon as I saw no one was up it droped the clutch and managed a 45 degree drift for about 5 or more seconds, about two seconds into it there was a bloke walking towards me on the pavement, he must of seen me coming side ways shite it then dived over a wall. I had to straighten up pull over and wipe the tears from my eyes me mate nearly fell out laughing. :D I got to say though there was no way he was in danger

on the radio the other day a survey carried out in high-school USA painted a picture of us Brits as pacifists, child beating, arrogant and toffs... so in response to this stunning piece of reserch i thought a wholly un-scientific survey of our own was in order.... ;) ok lets have you opinions on our yankee reebok bermuda short wearing obese pals over the pond

Has anyone fabricated a custom install in the boot using some type of mouldings. I have built mine using MDF but like the look of the moulded Install. There must be someone who has made a mould or someone who can offer the service. With the limited space it would be good to find a supplier or can resolve this issue.

What are your oppinions on them and what sort of power do they take? as i am undecided whether to get the Sport Street or Puk. The street is listed at 280lb/ft and the puk 340lb/ft. Went to Halfords yesterday to buy some brake discs and fluid for the Mondeo. I picked up a litre bottle of brake fluid from the top shelf it was on, and the bottle I picked up was leaking everywhere so I immediately put it down on the floor, fluid dripping everywhere. It felt only 1/2 full, the rest was on the shelf. I, of course, let the first assistant I saw know that this nasty stuff was all over the floor, but he said "Sorry I'm from the service centre and dont work in store..." and wasnt interested, hmmm  Saw a "proper" assistant nearby and told him, he looked blank and said ok and wandered off. Meanwhile I went and asked for the brake…
