does anyone take there engine out without the use of a garage. I have no garage, how long will it take?

As many of you know I have been working on the car over the winter and decided to to the whole widearch, sills, tailgate skin and so on. The plan was to do everything including fitting, painting and making the wheel spacers etc by myself. Not forgetting the full colour change from red to white. Not far away now so here is a couple of pics from the start and where it is today. Ive made loads of photos on the way so i might do a guide sometime to fitting the various parts incase any of you feel brave and want to have a go yourselves. paul

Went to the South of France last month, near Perpignan. Got the ferry over, drove down in the Zed. Here's some highlights: EXTREMELY narrow road along side a Gorge: And from the rear (stay up rocks please!!!): The Gorge (spot the Zed!): Up a mountain in the Massiv Central: Buy wine! (Brought back about 70 bottles) Left with 4mm of tread all round, when we got back, the rears looked like this: Then I gave her a good clean, new tyres, oil change. Well done Zed! 2000 MILES! No problems AT ALL! :dance: Top speed, hmm about 110 on the way back to the ferry. Max miles per tank 315! I was on fumes!!! And the French …

Ok fed up now toyos, pereli, bridgestone, yoko's blaa blaa. Need 4 new z rated boots for the car, the cheap shit i have on there is not good at sticking in the wet or dry and are only rated to 130. Not that I am a bad boy but I do run around tracks on teh odd occasion. Loocking for a softer compound maybe or a tyre that is proven. 18" 190mph Any thoughts.

I'm fed up with St George everywhere so ive made myself a little protest plate!!! Well I was bored as the footy was on thus no customers!!!

Just wanted to know if any one else here has got any DENSO IRIDIUM PLUGS In there motor. Need to change mine but i can`t find a proper reveiw of them on the net. :) Cheer`s.

Just incase anyone's planning a trip to South Wales , if you dont already know, the M4 is riddled with mobile speed camera traps, especially just after the Severn bridge near the tolls. ill be selling my zed shortly due to starting a new business and i was just wondering whats shes worth ?????? 89 g plate(auto) standard engine apart from hks filter only covered 45 k after market rear bumper cat back twin 5" pipes(sounds sweet) full leather (and normal refinements) only had the car 2 month and we were the 2 uk owners only covered 1k miles since inported!! 2years ago :shock: any clue guys and gals? :) craig :cool:

I was given a blitz boost guage and i was wondering if anybody could tell me what might be missing. Its a white faced guage with 2 wires out of the back and a mounting bracket. What's it missing and can these bits be bought or is it useless.

Hi guys, Not really into rear spoilers that much, i took my normal one of and flushed the tailgate, also put a skin on, it looked 10x better and thats how it has stayed for a long time. But now im getting bored and its time to move on lol, so i'm looking for a pentroof style one. All the spoilers on the Z specialists sites I have seen look pants, so anyone know of one that looks good on a Z, (please dont say supra style!!!) keep getting a funny noise from the back end, whch sounds like an audible horn/alarm, changes sides so i guess its summat to do with the hicas. soung lasts for 2 sec and only comes on at around 40is.

Just had a thought- is it the done thing to wave/flash at 350Zs? Even if you do, would a 350 wave back at a Z32?! Anyone tried??!! :dance:

Just looking at an NSX on e-bay apparently 270 BHP and 0-60 in 5.7 seconds,is this the same 0-60 time as a 300ZX twin turbo manual?????

as above, wondered if anyone has a pic of a car on a ramp or something to see what the stock turbo's look like compared to what's on my car and whether they standard or not, will there be marking's on standard one's ? if so what and where ?! Matt

After a long time of searching and waiting, I finally got my Z yesterday - 92 import, TT manual. Just wanted to introduce myself - I'm looking forward to becoming a subscribed member and having access to the wealth of knowledge available here. Right - I'm off out now for a lunchtime drive!
