I'm having the drivers side bolster repaired in readyness for placing onto my drivers seat. While I'm having this done I'm going to ask the upholsterer to make me up some leather hand brake gators, I beleive I'll have enough for four gators from the amount of leather I've got. One will be for my car, a second will be for someone elses (already per-booked ;)), so hopefully I'll have two more up for sale. They'll be in BLACK ONLY, with a press stud, but NOT with a metal frame. I DO NOT know how much I'll sell them for, as I dont yet know how much they are going to cost me ;). Sorted a few little problems out, but best of all sorted my bad running prob :D Following this thread, Acceleration Problem , Ive taken the the advise of andyduff, and checked out the PTU connectors, which looked like this, And the PTU itself, And given them a good clean up, also checked the coil pack connectors, and they were perfect, no corrosion at all, clean as a whistle :D It's working fine now, except for the cat light comming on if I floor it for too long, but not too worried about this, as I'm going to have my ecu chipped to get rid of the limiter, and will see from there. If people are interested in sorting out some of these rivalries ;) . How about a bouncy boxing ring for the club stand. this is really good fun. Price is £411.25 inc. vat. This does include insurance 2 operators and 5 hours of run time. I've only phoned 1 place at the moment, thought i see how much interest there is first. And to find out as to wheather the club will foot the bill or perhaps the cash can be raised by a small donation from club members at the show. :dance:

Following the thread which discussed "don't post when u r pissed" I'd just like to say that I've just returned back from a night on the town in Exeter , and saw on my drive... a 300zx! After seeing a price related thread on the 200 forum and looking through autotrader today!!! What else is out there, they start at 3500 and up, ok spend 4500 to get a decent one, spend a grand on it and you have a 170mph car!!! I saw RX7's they are 6k up, juicy as feck and engine needs a rebuild every 60k, lurvely looking though! Mitsi gto 5-6k for a car that has always had piiisss poor reviews and is a pile of junk compared to the 300! Shitty old cossies going for 5k plus! Seriously what else is out there?

Only reason I ask is that I joined the MR2 Drivers Club recently and what you get back through the post is ace. Club magazine every month I think, stand to be corrected on that one as Adam may chip in as I have moved house so still not re-directed the mail. Money off services from local dealers, cheap parts etc. I know that alot of this stuff is already available to most of us through Mike Feeney but are we really progressing into a club? Also MR2 club offer cheap insurance and all sorts. Not having a dig, just wondering where this is all going etc. Read, not saying that Toyota clubs are any better, just wondering how this fine place is moving for…
