Before..... After..... :D Dunno about you lot, but does it make it look more modern?? The door still wants repairing though, but that will have to wait. There is no way to screwdriver my Z any more, I have removed the linkage that connects lock barrel to the door lock. My alarm locks the doors just fine, and also the lock handle in the car works too. If the battery goes flat..... I'll just get in through the boot...lol Thinking about it, I guess S13 guys could do this too, handles look very similair. Was quite easy to too too, remove lock that is in handle and countersink the outside face of the lock hole. This will make i…

Well she's finally sold, to a guy from Nottingham. Hope he enjoys being a Z man. He should do he got it cheap enough. I'd just like to thank everyone for the help & advice I've recieved over the last 18 months on this forum, because without you guys a lot of people could never own a Z. I'll still be having a visit to the forum from time to time. Go easy on the new guy when he's asking the old questions, we all have to start at the begining. good luck everyone. :)

Just been down to :x: halfords :x: to look at some alloys........ been told that these dont fit our 300's Anyone else herd of this they said the brake calipers are too big (although I asked about 18's not 16's) Just thought I'd ask as the boffins there didnt know what speed rating the package tyres were (I just said oh, and had the same can't be arsed attitude) They currently have 25% off packages so It would have worked out £925 for 235x18 front and 265x18 back Anybody enquired anywhere about these?

came up to a set of traffic lights today in town, and was behind an un-identifiable car, except for the legend TALON across the back. Never heard of it before, and there was no manufacture name to be seen anywhere. It had the standard euro size rear number plate on it, with a foreign plate on (LT?). Have done a little research tonight and have come up with this pic first, simular to the view I had, although I was directly behind it, Found the manufacturer to be Eagle cars, an american company. I have heard of them, but thought they were a british kit car company  Anyway their site gave me these pics, so thought I'd post them, cant find any i…

find out how much traffic passes along a certain road without actually sitting there and counting? Is there a web site or organization that holds this information?

It's back from C&S at last! It's had an engine swap, Fidanza flywheel, RPS clutch, and pretend SUS induction. The engine was bought unseen and turned out to have Stage II TurboTechnics :hyper:, which is good and bad, see below - engine in a high state of tune has gone into a chassis in a lesser state of tune (stock exhaust) - plus auto engine on manual drivetrain - plus no boost controller. :x: Clutch action is HEAVY - but I quite like that. Adjustment was almost on the floor when Phil test drove it so he's adjusted it upwards now - but I think he may have over-egged the pudding because it now slips somewhere around peak torque. I have to say the bite point …

As many of you know I have been working on the car over the winter and decided to to the whole widearch, sills, tailgate skin and so on. The plan was to do everything including fitting, painting and making the wheel spacers etc by myself. Not forgetting the full colour change from red to white. Not far away now so here is a couple of pics from the start and where it is today. Ive made loads of photos on the way so i might do a guide sometime to fitting the various parts incase any of you feel brave and want to have a go yourselves. paul

Went to the South of France last month, near Perpignan. Got the ferry over, drove down in the Zed. Here's some highlights: EXTREMELY narrow road along side a Gorge: And from the rear (stay up rocks please!!!): The Gorge (spot the Zed!): Up a mountain in the Massiv Central: Buy wine! (Brought back about 70 bottles) Left with 4mm of tread all round, when we got back, the rears looked like this: Then I gave her a good clean, new tyres, oil change. Well done Zed! 2000 MILES! No problems AT ALL! Top speed, hmm about 110 on the way back to the ferry. Max miles per tank 315! I was on fumes!!! And the French …
