General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Time for a decent bit of fun I reckon. This thread can be whatever you want it to be about, as long as it will make other people laugh. Lets see how many bans we can get in one thread :D So bring it on :D

Just had a blowout on the M4 and when i examined the tyre it looks like the inside wall has been rubbing on either bodywork or suspension. Running 265/35/18 tyres at moment on either 10 or 10.5x18 wheels (cant remember!) Ive been going to put a wide arch kit on for a while now so the time has now come. Question is will it still fit in garage with wide arch kit?

For those of you that have had complete resprays done how long did it take? Just spoke to the bodyshop and they say it will take another two weeks! (already had it for four on Friday) Joblist was, complete respray in new colour (all doorshuts and sills, not the engine bay), fit clear side indicators, new external trims (over the doors and under the windscreen) new fron bumper ('99 spec) new rear spoiler (oem replica) fix a couple of minor dents and dings, repair the sills where the car had been jacked up wrong and thats it! six weeks seems a bit over the top to me and I'm getting a little impatient.. :mad:

hip hip - :D me very happy-san Ryan sorted me car for me & now im finally, finally got me Z :bow: He went above and beyond the call of duty & made a cracking job of it now my dead engine red Z is a big purring kitten :dance: :dance: for a extremely reasonable fee may I add :bow: Car is now immaculate :D well apart from some minor cosmetics and the rest of the stuff I want to do. All I need now is Leather, chip, SS zorst, boost controller, 1mm BJs, new front bumper, de-spoiler the bootlid, put on me 18" shoes, put on me filter, put on the brembo spotted&slotted discs on front, dunno about the bovs, maybe a bit pointless …

Say The Sun is priced at 10p one day, what paper do you buy? If you buy The Sun anyway... what max price would you pay? 50p? £1?

Anyone know if it's possible to get a replacement MOT certificate? I've gone and lost mine and car tax is due at the end of the month. I suppose I could just have a new test, but she is booked in for other work and a MOT in the middle of next month. Looks like I'll have to use Sorn declaration and drive my elderly Zed for a few weeks
