BAZZ Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Just had a blowout on the M4 and when i examined the tyre it looks like the inside wall has been rubbing on either bodywork or suspension. Running 265/35/18 tyres at moment on either 10 or 10.5x18 wheels (cant remember!) Ive been going to put a wide arch kit on for a while now so the time has now come. Question is will it still fit in garage with wide arch kit? Quote
Guest mickeyb Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Depends how wide your garage is ;) LOL   Quote
Guest andyduff Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Shouldn't be rubbing with 265s  You sure the wheels have the correct offset? Quote
olly300zx Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 I have 285 30 18's on a 10x18 and it doesn't rubb anywhere, plus it is lower than an ant thats been squashed lol. Check the offsett matey. Olly. Shouldn't be rubbing with 265s  You sure the wheels have the correct offset? Quote
Guest Sgt C Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 The Wide Arse doesn't go beyond the mirrors mate.........;:D Quote
Guest Sgt C Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 ooooh and if it has been lowered check ya camber mate......;) Quote
BAZZ Posted August 26, 2004 Author Posted August 26, 2004 Cheers, had a suspision that the offset wasnt correct. As long as the kit is no wider than the mirrors it will fit in the garage. Time to decide on which rear spoiler and bumper to go for now! Quote
