Hi, thought I should start a new thread, and try and collate all the various work that the car has had since my 9 years of ownership. I cannot believe its been 9 years! and finally my Zed is going to get the respray she deserves. I have spent the last few weeks deliberating on what colour to go for, and have decided to stick with red. At the moment that's as far as its got though, the shortlist of reds is still at 4/5 options, so more pouring over photos and visiting the odd showroom to help with the decision process. Many thanks to those of you who supplied photos and information on colours, wheels etc. I will add some key previous threads to this post, along w…

Hi gents, another question, has anyone fitted a digital coolant temp gauge? if so which one and from where? Does it require a new temp sensor fitted to the bypass pipes? can you fit one where the existing temp gauge is? look forward to your replies

Hi all, after trawling through 1000’s of wheels I’ve finally found the set that I want for my Z. Now I’ll be totally honest, I have no idea about wheel sizes, compatibility and fit so I’m hoping someone can help. The sizes are front 18x8.5 ET42 rear 18x9.5 ET40. Will these fit with the standard callipers or will they need spacers? Thanks

Hi everyone, As a new member with a recent purchase I thought I’d start a thread with plans and for some help. 1995 JDM TT Manual. I’ve already ordered new side window trim from the USA. Does anyone know if you can order new clear indicators from Nissan? Also the car occasionally idles at 2k. No doubt it been asked many times but where’s best to start looking?

Due to collect my 4th TT very soon, and yes it’s getting the 12j Rotas in pink fitted. Not everyone’s choice of wheel but it is mine, so if you don’t like Rota wheels keep on scrolling and don’t bother with negative comments I’m not interested in any other opinion other than my own, after all it’s me who pays the bills. Now if someone could possibly tell me how to upload photos on here it would be greatly appreciated

GOODBYE BOMEX FRONT BUMPER HELLO TT FRONT BUMPER today I got stuck into the front bumper to get the car ready for MOT, yes I am aware there is a gap issue on the edges, but was just glad to get it on. I will be taking it back off when it's due to get painted don't know when though, strengthening plates on the side may have not been good and straight.. I will when I can rearrange my pics and create a build from when I got the car to me ripping off the side skirts and bumpers.

Hi guys. As some of you may know my black UK zed is at jimmers for what I can only say some extensive refurbishments...ie,big engine build A/C recommissioned Big brake up grade and body work, but one thing I wasn’t counting on was a wheel change :sad:as I love my AZEV’s but the brakes I’ve/we’ve fitted are that big the wheels will not go over the callipers so I think its time for a new refreshing change and some new wheels  and all is not lost as the AZEV’s will be donated to my impul as they should look nice on her. tyres have already turned up so just waiting on the wheels.

Right thought it was about time that I got round to doing this. Having had the car for a few years now I have finally given in to the urge for more power. The original engine in the car runs superbly only 66k miles with a proven Dyno run @ 357bhp, with boost jets and a uprated chip & air filter. Not bad at all for a 300ZX, but I was bitten by the bug and was set on going for more bhp and reliability, (I know why fiddle with it if it ain't broke). But having been lucky enough to have many nice high powered cars in recent years I wanted to keep the Zed long term and the engine is the first part of the project so it need's to be a good strong/reliable build. …

Hi all! Can't afford to do too much to the car at the moment, not til next year, so for the moment I'll just be trying to get the best out of what I have! The bodywork and paint on this car is in good nic so I'll be concentrating on polishing up the kakimoto exhaust and doing a refurb on the wheels myself. This is also the first time I've done anything like this myself, so hopefully I don't mess it up too much!
