Hey all . Just picked up my lifelong dream car . A 2+2 1990 tt red with 100k miles . It's a jap and is in good condition. Has aftermarket japspeed exhaust and intercooler with remap. I need to try and find a timing belt kit for the 120k service . Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction ?

IMG_3291.pdfIve owned my 1994 black, twin turbo 2+2 Manual since I was 21, that's nearly 13 years ago!, it has been sat in a rotten asbestos garage for the past 6 years. when I put the car in it was in pretty good nick, now its clear rust has started eating away, the sills have gone and the paintwork is getting worse by the day.IMG_3291.pdf I know I should be ashamed of myself for letting this classic get in such a sorry state, but as the old saying goes, life gets in the way! I have no intention of getting rid of the car, so I am trying to etch out a plan to restore the car, I know this car will be a valuable asset the more the years pass by. Looking for people…

Hi all, Just registered as I'm looking at getting myself a Z... (TT or an NA, with a Manual box). My girlfriend had an accident in my old MX6 and spun her, So I'm looking at something new and improved, faster and much more fun, I aimed at keeping the MX6 for a very long time and spent allot of time and plenty of funds on it, So I would very much like to fun the new car at the same standerd but, I would really like to know about running costs and well known places to obtain spares? I would guess £3000, £4500 would get me something in reasonable condition? Many thanks, Adam

Been away in the world of LR Defenders for a while now (currently on my third ?) but thought I’d resurrect my membership and say hi. My LWB TT is gone, the VH45DE conversion got sold part way through as I needed the money, the spare shell went around the same time and I’m now down to our LWB NA (not to mention a metric fvck-tonne of spares ?) which has been off the road with electrical issues for quite a few years now. Just need to find a decent Z specialist to get her back on the road! Leigh.

I live up near Nottingham and, Well I have always skirted around buying a 300zx but never really knew much about them, other than its beautiful shape. So one came up (it's N/A) and I decided to go for it, it was also the right price with just enough work to keep me intrigued and intersted. It arrived Friday 9th April and it will be getting motd, serviced and added to my collection. I look forward to pecking all your heads about things I should fix or how to's etc and mostly meeting up with some of you.

Hey all, My name is Dimitry from Southampton, and I thought I'd spend a minute to finally introduce myself. I've had quite a selection of cars over the years and this is currently my 3rd Z32 (I had 3x 350z and even a 260z RHD! ? ). She is a 1993 TT JDM Import Manual LWB Targa top... Had the car for 4 years but sadly at the start of the ownership I also had a rx7 and a 600bhp Supra so 300 was almost unused. I finally had a huge service done to it and it's back on the road, hoping to resolve further minor issues and use it a lot more through 2021 as I've sold the others now and need a nice daily ? I'm a Project Engineer in the medical industry by trade b…

Hi all, recently bought myself my first 300ZX S1, 1992 manual N/A in black. I've always wanted one of these ever since I was a spotty teen during the Max Power era of the early 2000s. Now Im 30 and bought one with a few period correct 'modifications', all I want to do is revert it back to factory! Funny how the mind and taste matures... Anyway, along my journey Im hoping for plenty of veteran advice (and parts) and Im looking forward to getting involved and sharing my experiences with one of my childhood dream cars!

Hello folks, I'm Scott and I'm openly an eccentric collector of the weird, wonderful and quirky from Skateboards, Bmx's, classic Vw's, 90's cars, classic plant, Land Rovers and even Russian military trucks! I've recently managed to acquire a Z32 through a sale of a dead fellas car collection, there was an intermediary involved so I couldn't get any information on the previous owner other than what I have found in the milk crate deep pile of history that came with it. I was wondering if any of you guys would know if the previous owner had been on here? The car is a 1990 black TT auto with a distinctive Private plate that ends 3005 and a ve…

Hi All Looking to buy my first 300zx - still love these cars and I've actually always wanted one. got some cash saved to purchase now. I have a budget between £3k-£5k, looking for a N/A (not fussed about the power and leaning towards a N/A mainly because of the reliability, want the looks and has to be totally originally/stock with no mods) I've seen this one on ebay which basically ticks all my boxes, looks good. any advice/thoughts from anyone else? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1990-Nissan-300-ZX-3-0-Auto-FairLady-Z-Targa-Grey-23-000-Low-Miles-Immaculate/173888346567?hash=item287c8d99c7:g:VXAAAOSw78xceHD8 Regards Jav

Hello all, I have seen a car for sale that seems to be too good to be true. However, I know nothing about these cars, so I would appreciate any links to information on different marks, engines etc. Which models to go for, and ones to avoid. Are the JDM cars the best as in all other Japanese cars that I have had dealings with?

Hello. I’m not exactly a newbie but I shall say I am. I joined here many years ago when I had a blue 300zx lwb tt manual. Over what must be +10years and many cars later, I’ve returned to the one car I could never get of my mind, obvs the Z. Marking the turn of UK independence, I thought it fitting that today I picked up my Jap import Z. This time a 1992 lwb na auto. I can’t be arsed with power chasing anymore so it will get a little attention. Has come with an exhaust, coilovers, and lots of damp. However there is minimal rust that I can see and has a few teething issues. currently has had a new alternator and and that’s it. Sitting currently at 9…

Hi All, Newbie here (kind of). Made an account almost a decade ago when my older brother was going to buy a 300zx but he never did - was doing some research for him. Just went to sign up and realised I've still got an account with the forum under my email address! About a month ago at the spur of the moment I went and bought a lovely Jap spec blue 300zx TT Manual LWB with about 390 bhp, off of a guy called Ollie in Herefordshire. I believe the previous owner to him was and maybe is still a member here (from Scotland). Drove back during the storm Dennis on a Sunday for 3.5 hours in the pouring rain which was interesting but so worth it. An over view of th…

Hi Everyone, Just a quick intro, I have some history with the Z32 having spent a fair bit of time working on them in the past, helping friends source them and also upgrading my 200SX S13 with numerous donor parts. I've recently acquired a written off LWB Auto that I'm breaking, I'm taking the brakes for my car and there are a lot of bits I wont need for myself so hopefully they can find their way to members cars! Longer term I hope to find a clean manual SWB TT but currently I'm having enough fun with the S13! Cheers Tom

Hi, I'm from The Netherlands and own a 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo. I bought it about 4 months ago, it was offered for parts, I immediately bought it from internet without seeing the car itself in real. It has no transmission or engine in it (yet), but I didn't cared. I saved it and want to restore it completely one day to it's original showroom condition. Here are some photos from the day I picked it up... Most interior parts where stored inside the car, the rear bumper came also with it, so for most part it was complete. Only one inerior panel is missing and the drivers window. (+the engine and transmission the…

Hi All, Due to a bottom Crankshaft oil seal leaking my alternator belt, it came off 4 years ago and manage to get into the timing belt housing and buggered the engine up. Well it's a good time to pull it to bits and fix it now. Got an engine and gearbox but need clutch plate and bolts for flywheel odd bits to make it all work. Clutch pedal to fit. Who's best to see for parts and what's this project like to do? Also pulling it to bits, the wiring looms a bit brickle, starting to think is this wise project!

Hi Everyone, Newbie to the 300zx world but not to resurrecting unloved cars. My 300zx is a UK 1994 TT in Nissan Sapphire Blue (TK3). It is one of the last uk cars, I think there are 11 with later vins At some point it had the Z Centre wide body kit fitted to it. Between 2015 and 2017 it had a manual conversion. In the last few years it has passed between perspective owners who have all failed the car leaving it in the sorry state it is in today. The car came with an amazing history file with paperwork for everything done to it from 1994 till 2017 As you can see from the pictures below the decline of the car from an amazing looking machine it …

Hi All, I'm new to the club & just wanted to say hello ?. Thought I would share some pic's of my car if that's cool -she's a 1990 JDM NA Auto in grey with the lovely matching 'tweed' like interior. I've owned her since June 2019, she was imported to the UK in Jan 19 by a company in Wales and has covered 39,700 km now! I guess my intentions are to keep the car stock, although I have fitted some 17" alloys and tinted the rear windows, white indicators and a few other bitd, I maybe tempted by an aftermarket exhaust to really release that V6 purr but I'm not sure exactly what I'm after yet. I've removed a pair of HID's last week as it failed its MOT solely on these last w…
