  1. Hi there, Just to say i've jumped back on the 300zx band wagon! I was privilaged enough to own Apache's stunning N/A swb a couple of years ago, but being 21, and on apprentice wage I was unable to keep putting fuel in it! Well now i'm back, a fully fledged aerospace engineer and i've just put a deposit down on another swb, but this time a TT, 70,000 miles (potentially less depending on whether the clock was sent back when converting to mph), brand new mot (with the 2 minor advisories delt with), bodywork is really good, I found no rust at all, not even rear sills or boot lid where water likes to sit. The engine runs smooth and everything works! it's also standard b…

Hi Guys Thought I would post a pic of my car for starters, seems like that's the done thing here. Im looking to get more involved, shows, runs etc, im in the Rochdale area. Car is a TT with manual conversion and the usual remap and fettle from Jeff @ Zedworld. I love it, it always puts a massive smile on my face every time I drive it. Anyway what do you guys think of her ???

Hi guys, been registered on here a while and have not introduced myself. This seems to be a great forum which loads of info and a bunch of helpful members most willing to help. I am from South Africa and the 300zx 2+2 was sold here for a few years by Nissan and of late many jap import models have surfaced as well as some US left hand drive models. I have owned mine for 3 years and got it as a non runner which was the only way I could afford it, anyway I will be planning a build thread soon as I have most of the parts now to get going. cheers for now...

  5. Started by Ayuel,

Hi to all you Zedders here at 300ZX. I thought it good manners to introduce myself before going any further. Briefly, I have had a love affair with the Z marque since 1985. Started with the 260Z 2+2. I recently purchased a green 1994 z32 convertible which has only covered 36000+ miles. In the process of making a few very subtle mods and will post some pics once completed.

  6. Started by Adam D,

Hi all, My name's Adam from Nottingham. I have a 1992 JDM 300ZX Twin Turbo which I have owned for about a year now. It has the following modifications currently- Stainless Exhaust & Apexi Filter Blitz Access ECU Greddy Profec Boost Controller Lightweight Prop Shaft Injen Chrome Intercooler Hardpipes Braided Fuel Lines Silicon Coolant & PCV Hoses Chrome all over the engine bay (thinking of removing some of it) Replaced the front lights with earlier spec dark headlamps as one of the previous owners fitted lights with silver inserts which I wasn't as keen on. Advan Siena 2 Wheels with Goodyear Eagle Asymmetrical Tyres …

  7. Started by Alain300,

Hi everyone!! Decided to spoil myself with a late Xmas pressie and got tempted by a beautiful z32 with one-off body kit and boosted power. Not very reasonable as I already have a few other toys, and decided to buy the beast without any proper check over... I don't have much paper work and bought it from a dealer that took it in part exchange. He put me the previous owner on the phone for me, who confirmed that the car was all good. Decided to go for it as the look is simply awesome (flash yellow, certainly not for the shy type) and the power tremendous. I owned a z32 a few years ago, and when I took this one for a test drive, realised how much more power was on…

Hey I sold my lwb tt last year for a Clio sport 182 cup and a Suzuki SV 650, but it really....wasnt a zed so I got a new one! It isn't running at the moment it's a silver swb manual n/a which I hope to convert to tt cause the current engine is knackered! Also make it all Shiney and blemish free! Here comes take 2!

  10. Started by Ginola,

Hi there! I have recently bought the car of my dreams, 300zx tt auto in black. i was initially looking for a manual but nearly everyone i hadbeen to look at had been abused. i then came across an auto that was in excellent condition and had been owned by an enthusiast and never looked back. it drives fantastic. The car isnt perfect by all means. the targa roof leaks in heavy rain and it has a small oil leak. However it has had a reconditioned engine installed by zed world amd other small modifications so i am happy. My ambition is to fit the wide arch kit on it when i can afford it but my main focus is to concentrate on making sure it is mechanically soun…

  12. Started by 300zx manual,

Hi I am Matt from the new forest. I own a 300ZX manual convertible. Marty from this forum spotted my car advertised on Ebay and told me about the owners club, so I thought I'd join up. I love the convertible, but I am after a turbo tin top now, or a decent R32 Skyline maybe

  13. Started by Daves_Zed,

Well, as title, good afternoon to you all. I'm new here, don't own a Zed at the moment, owned one in the past though, used to be known as Eliza and ran with FLZ 2300, if anyone knows of it let me know, but I beleive it was broken! :( Anyway, just thought I'd say hello :)

Hi , the names Ed , and heres the story of how i came into ownership of a Z32. A couple of years ago I got sick of running “interesting” (to me at least) cars as daily drivers so I invested in a jeep, a trailer, and a track only 180SX and decided to have a go at this drifting malarkey. In the ensuing 2 years or so, I only managed to get the car on track about 7-8 times. Whilst the few days I had her on track were an absolute blast and I have memories I will take to my grave, such as getting on the handbrake at 80mph just past the bridge in Mondello to attempt a switch entry into Honda (scary as hell), the remaining 361 days of the year were spent in abject miser…

  15. Started by tbladeone,

Hi all, I'm considering coming over to 300zx fold and ideally would be after a nicely powered (450bhp +) swb tt, not to bothered about paint work as long as it's not rusty, and a transistor radio will also be ok instead of a shake the back window out boom box. Running that amount of hp, would everyone say a built engine is needed?

  16. Started by US Z in Germany,

Hello my name is Luis and I live in Germany for now, I am from California where I have mu White z with not many mods the white z started as a 2+2 Automatic :hurl: it wen trough a successful transplant to a 5 speed done by me and then a heart transplant to a TT done by me as well, this was in 2008. I blew the first engine and got a second JDM but did the 120k service and slapped some GT2530 with 740cc injectors, coil overs and adjustable suspension this is the first day I got her home I paid 1200 US new bumper I didn't like it once it was on wasn't happy with it so I go a JSPEC heart transplant:cool3: How she is now

Hi all my names Mark and im a new z owner from Camden Town London. Ive wanted one for years having admired them as a child and recently the wife finally agreed to let me get one as a project. So i picked a 91 Twin Turbo up from eastbourne for 560 quid and to say she needs work is an understatement. She does run but i think theres a misfire and she overheats after a short time of running her. Now theres no oil in the water shes dumping so im happy its not a headcasket but i do need a water pump... Anyways thought id say high As you can see the engine bay is very tired

Hi I have three 300zx, a non turbo manual, sons, a twin turbo, sons, and mine a twin turbo automatic. The plan is to remover the manual from the n/a engine and fit it to my twin turbo... But I WONDER is the automatic engine from the twin turbo the same as the auto from the n/a.... My white one has a real problem getting into third, we changed the solenoid from a n/a engine auto box (I think) but it made matters worse...so suspect its something else, another sensor not working right or a completely buggerd box...boxes are relatively common so will change it I think for now until the manual box is stripped out... But the big question are the twin turbo b…

  22. Started by Tobymanx,

Good morning all, Joined to do a bit more research before looking at getting a Z32 Twin Turbo. Have loved these cars since they came out - I remember watching some really lame 90's film "Teen Agent" and there being a lush white targa 300zx in that and thinking - what is THAT! Anyway, hello and thanks in advance for the advice! Toby

  24. Merry Christmas to all of you! Many thanks to BazzaJG and his wife for their kind attention on my visit to Manchester to view the car in reality. The test drive was under flodding rain, but succeeded to have it safe! A very nice example of Z32 somehow heavily updated and very impressive. The deal was confirmed and we drove back to London first with my wife (no fear and delighted!), spent the Saturday in the city, and finished the drive to Reims on the Sunday... finally with wet road, but no more rain! The french MOT is done a OK, and I have the homologuation certificate to finalize the french registration quite soon... And I am still discovering all that h…
