  1. Think I’m going to be on the Irish news tonight :innocent: Just been filmed by a tv crew bringing some councilor to court :whistling:
  2. I don't think anyone here was thinking that you were going to do a runner matey. I certainly didn't anyway:blink: and to be honest, I'd be a bit disappointed if people were thinking it. It takes time to plan, design and prepare interiors to the standard that you turn them out in, you also have commitments to other club's group buys that were in front of us. Timeframes will always change as unforseen circumstances arise (Power Cuts, bad weather for deliveries, running out of leather, as you've gone through quite a few herds, I'd imagine:biggrin:). These things take time, patience is required sometimes. Now can we close off this thread and bury it in the archives, never to be seen or suggrsted again??:innocent:
  3. That’s fine with me, it’s what I had intended all along:thumbup1: It’s really up to Simon though, I did kind of strong arm him into it. If he’s not keeping his trader status, could you give him the £65 either ways as it is going towards an interior retrim:thumbup1:
  4. As I stated already, it was not my intention to initiate a donation system. I was merely paying a Traders sub through the PayPal system for a mate. Myself and Simon have a great history and it was to keep Mondo’s work in the view of the club, if the thread hadn’t been closed I wouldn’t have given it any thought. I understand Gary’s and the commitee’s view but just thought it was worth the few quid to have Hide & Seat trading in our Club. In hindsight I was a bit overzealous to “Shanghai” Simon back into the Club but we’ve spoken and he’s not getting a donation, I’ve paid some of the monies I’m going to owe him for the Group Buy (in other words, it’s Simon’s money). It wouldn’t have been an issue (and I did mention that there was no need for donations) if it had been left as one Traders subscription, which is what I paid. The donation thing was set up after this and may have been a mistake imo. This whole thing has been blown out of proportion, ie. a mountain out of a molehill.
  5. Hi Jeff, I myself didn't intend on this happening, I had a chat to Mondo regarding his thread and his Traders status, I felt as obviously a lot of other members did that his skills are an asset to this Club, I messaged Simon regarding all this and the result was that I paid his subs in lieu of extra work to be undertaken by Simon on my Group Buy, in other words, it's costing Simon a lot more in time, labour and materials than the £65 subs fee, and we have held onto a trader who may have disappeared like a lot of others. I didn't donate (even though my payment shows up as an anonymous donation), I paid a years subscription for a Traders status and Traders Area.
  6. Cheers Gaz, already looked on CZP:scared: Think I'm going to try some Gummi Pflege first:whistling:
  7. Don't think it's the drains Ian, the puddle was back where the seat would normally be, forgot to photo it yesterday before I soaked it up. Should be able to get one tonight when I'm home from work. I'll have a search on here to see if there's a seal conditioning thread and have a go at that for the weekend:thumbup1:
  8. So, Opened the drivers door yesterday evening and (as the carpet is lifted) I see a puddle of water in the floor pan, I'm assuming I'm going to need door and Targa seals??:innocent:
  9. Can get them new or second hand Howard, not cheap either way :innocent: PS. Ill give you a shout later:thumbup1:
  10. Organised for the Equips to go down to my buddy Brendan at Team Chihuahua for a full refurb, going to keep them original with a fresh lick of silver and get the rims polished up:thumbup: 3rd in the queue, so won't see them for a while:scared:
  11. Must've been blowing smoke up my *ss so. Mentioned it to Rob yesterday and he said they'd be quite picky at who they let inside their doors as they mostly sell on the internet.:thumbup1:
  12. A man that knows how to enjoy his time off !!:punk::scooter::punk:
  13. Let me know what you’re after and I can have a chat with Dave matey
  14. This my friend, is JDM Distro’s Irish HQ, they don’t usually let people in here but I’m a preferred customer :innocent::whistling:
  15. Looks to be a really clean motor Adam:thumbup:
  16. Had a great day down in Wicklow, picked up my remaining Work Equips, the guys even threw in a set of 235/35/19 and a set of 275/30/19 Tyres to use for fitment and rolling around on till I can afford some good rubber. Took a few pics, put a few sets of wheels on the account:innocent::yes: Firstly, I grabbed a set of Veilside Andrew Racing Dish wheels in a 9.5 and 10.5 x 18” fitment, et28 all around so should be a good fitment for a Zed Managed to get my hands on a set of :innocent:Nismo LMGT1’s 9.5 x 18”:innocent::punk: And then snapped a few other wheels for you guys to drool over :tt2: Enjoy!!
  17. Gaz, no one is turning against you mate, I (as do all of us), appreciate all the committee’s work behind the scenes, I have been here since 2005 :scared: 13 years and watched this Forum turn into a Club, you have a tough job and as I already mentioned to you, I’d do the same for you pal, I’ll never forget the help, support and back up you gave me over the parcel full of newspaper debacle, even defending me when I had left for a year or five:yes:. You are an asset to this Club and have to make difficult decisions regarding members and Club rules. It is appreciated matey:thumbup:
  18. That’s paid, to include a Traders section  Thanks guys
  19. Of course :innocent:
  20. Guys, there’s no need for donations, I’ve been onto Si, I’ll cover his Traders fee and he’s doing extra work for me in lieu :tt2: Myself and Si have done numerous transactions with each other between swapping out plenums, clutch & brake kits etc. and we have a good friendship. I’ll PayPal the full amount as a gift payment and it’s all sorted:thumbup1:
  21. Hi Gaz, I was trying to pay the Traders fee but it won't let me for some reason, I've now tried it via my PC and still the same message comes up when i log into Paypal:confused1:. Is this happening because I was never a reg'd Trader and it's linked to my Username maybe? Just want to pay up Si's traders fee:thumbup1:
  22. Sorry guys, didn’t mean it to sound obstreperous, I did log in to PayPal and this came up, I’ll try again on the pc when I get home :thumbup1:
  23. What’s the story with the Club account guys?? :whistling:
