More than you can prob afford if any companies will insure you, tried for a laugh putting my little sister on when she first passed at the age of 18, no one would insure her, alot of ppl here who have many year on you and been driving for 10 years still pay about £4-600, why not get something smaller to build up your driving experiance and no claimes discount, it's always something to look to, iknow there are some younger members her, who have managed to get a good deal, but they are still 20+ sorry if that sounds harsh Neil

Now that Chris (GetGReddy) has stopped trading where do i get a turbo timer and a boost controller from?? don't wanna pay masses and masses of dosh and not keen on ebay, bought one for about £50 and then royal mail wanted £186 in import charges so told them to poke it! Any idea any one??? Neil

IIRC auto's have smaller turbo's, but if you can pick an auto up cheap enough then a manual conversion is always an option. I had an auto TT before and just picked up another auto, wanted a manual but pricce was too good, so if its cheap enough drive an auto till you have the cash then get a conversion done. i agree with the statements above manuals are more fun but autos sometimes are more practical. depends on you really, at the end of the day your the one driving it HTH Neil
