  1. any traders wanna get in on this?? know they expensive but a group buy of 5+ lots may bring the price down a bit? Neil
  2. after checking the wiring in sode the car the Answer is YES... coonts wish ppl would leave stuff alone if they dont know what there doing. :nono:
  3. The way it's wired up it all works fine  just need to replacethe dash loom now  after talking to Luke and checking the car over it seams that who ever had this before had royally F**ked up the wiring so onlything todo is replace the loom behind the dash, not looking forward to doing that, need to get hold of one first.  Neil
  4. did you have to pay any import costs?? what was the postage like??? Neil
  5. yes it's an import, not sure about the bumper as the car is in bits, it's got a standard rear bumper, and no front bumper, doesn't seam to have been messed about with. think i'll just have rip everything out and replace the dash wiring loom. Neil
  6. well got it all working, and the way luke said to wire it up, which is good, now 4 outer rings are dimmed as rear lights and then go brighter when the break pedel is pushed, and 4 inners as indicators  however, it would seam that whatever was causing the melting wire hadn't finished being destructive..... the whole cable from pod to fuse box is melted and started to melt other cables, quiet lucky the car didnt go up!! still not sire what has caused it so gonna replace the fuse box and the whole interior loom just to be on the safe side. hopefully this will solve any probs, however if anyone can shed some light on this it would bea great help as dont wanna replace the loom just for that one to burn out. Neil
  7. Have no idea the car had norear lights before i put these in, and has no rear light's if i take them out so nothing to check with, havent been any where nearthe light pod, so cant see how i could have cause this. :nono:
  8. No left hand side lights and break lights are on left hand side loom and right hand side is on the righth and loom. will psot up pic of the wiring diagrame luke sent me. Neil
  9. as i've said i followed the wireing diagramme to the T, gotta go to work now, i start at 3, but will check back later. Neil
  10. Left hand side.... both browns together and both black for outer ring together, both reds together and both blacks for iner ring together, same for the right hand side, only differenceis ai have the resistor on the right connectedin with the side light cct to the outer ring.. so side light cctwith resistor and break lights together in the outer ring on the right hand side, can see how this would make the left hand side work the same but followed the diagrame luke sent me. left side connected to left nissan loom and right side connected to right nissan loom Neil
  11. just remebered there's no voltage at the back for the side lights, And the funny thing is the fuse doesnt blow,i haveto take it out to stop the insulation melting Neil
  12. I bought the car in peices so have never had the light working, i have a resistor as well, the way it's wire up is out rings for side lights andthen they go brighter when braking. and all 4 inners are indicators. just had a though, can you put a resistor in the wrong way round? if so can see why the brake lights would work and not the side lights? Neil
  13. Nope just checked and it def the right way round, changedon side overand it made no difference. Neil
  14. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^WHAT HE SAID^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Neil
  15. Followed the write up and diagrames that luke sent me, so it should be right, however i will check. surley this wouldn't cause the other probs though. Neil
  16. could that sovle all three probs??? rear lights, smoking wires and screwed up head lights? Cheers Neil
  17. silent hill made me say fooking hell a few times, thought hostel was shite.. a porn for the first hour then a bit of random killing. Neil
  18. Ok fitted the venom led rear lights today, willget some pics up later, indicators and break lights work fine, however the rear lights don't? no voltage at the back?? tried to trace the cableing backbut can seeanything obvious..... so thoght i'd check the fuses, found one blown ( top row 3rd from front of car, what does this one do????), which didnt solve it :headvswal However with this fuse replaced, this is where i need the help, there is a cable in the light pod that started to smoke, and has now melted the insulation!!! with the fuse remove all is fine, but no rear lights, also with the lights on the head lights only use the mian bulb, even when the switch is only on side lights and i cant "flash"with the lights on, it only work when the lights are off??? Can anybody tell me what this fuse powers and WTF is going on, looks like i'm gonna have to replace the dash loom now :headvswal :headvswal And still no rear lights!!! going on holiday thursday and need to move the car about 1/4 mile to a secure garage. so really wanted to get it all done today, Anybody got any ideas on this and has any body got a lighting loom?? will post in the wanted section for this as well. sorry for the long post Cheers Neil
