  1. Thanks for that mate.
  2. Im looking to get an engine rebuild and upgraded injectors. Was thinking to my self.... At what point does the pump get maxed out or close to it? Ive always had the notion that its better to pay a little more and have something run at 60% of duty cycle rather than 90%. Im looking at getting 740cc injectors over the 555 for this very reason. Can someone please advise me on the pump, and if it is worth replacing then what options do i have? CheerZ
  3. I used a tin of spray paint on the head light inserts.. It came out ok, and lasted so there is stuff out there
  4. Lydiard house conference centre.... Only one we could find at decent price... All the local ones were already booked up!! It's Swindon SN5 3PA Think it's about 35 min drive from Castle Combe
  5. Hotel booked for Friday night... Will pay for ticket tomorrow... Just me the car and the better half coming.. So am I right in thinking 1 ticket will cover us?? Neil

  7. lol no Dave :slap: and dont encourage him Graham anyway they wouldnt fit in those bins... they're not big enough lol the dogs weight about 50kg each.. Takeo can stand up put his shovels (or paws) on my shoulders and look me in the eyes... followed by a wash lol (im 6'1) No wait till we get snow here... but i have a dry rig too..
  8. Hobbies.... well i have a pretty good one :) you take these add one of these.... and well think you lot get the idea ;)
  9. That's for a full length one... Instead of the 3 bits
  10. I just got a second hand full piece for £60 I think. So I recon £50 for a full length bit would be a good shout
  11. Exactly what I said to him via text lol
  12. Thats different. I quiet like it too actually
  13. Holy sh@t mate.... Lucky to come out of that with no injuries at all. But looking at it... Need a new front end. Work done on the rear 1/4 Wing and skirt.. What's the other side like?? Depending on the damage to the front end... It's all repairable. I've seen worse and repaired and sprayed worse, and you would never have know any damage was ever there (which is the point of accident repair lol) Depending on what bits you want and secondhand parts you can get hold of (again this is all subject to the actual damage on the front end) Shouldn't be too hard to sort out.. Maybe a Cat C
  14. I think Mark what's the whole car done though.. Not just the roof ;)
  15. I've got a space saver you can borrow. If you got your one then only need 2 more to be able roll it into the garage
  16. Im on my 3rd.... First one was a black. JDM TT auto... had some good memories in that. mainly trying to get my daughter in and out the car car seat.. which had to go in the front. had to take the T Top of as couldnt open the door lol.. Second was the Yellow/lime JDM TT again auto.... spend countless £££££ and about 2 years.. just as i was getting it finished it was stolen.. the Club rallied together and i managed to repair the damaged that was done (  ) but life through in another spanner and had to sell it..... i think id only driven it about 200 miles in the whole time of owner ship... that was a sad day... now im on my 3rd.. another JDM TT but a manual this time.. fingers crossed everything goes to plan. As said.. you do loose heart in it all.. i know i did, and spent about 4 years away from the scene.. but here i am again... again with the bug and determined to get this one finished and keep her lol....
  17. IIRC it you remove the HICAS solenoid when removing the HICAS system then you can fit an NA pump to get rid of everything .. Can someone please confirm this or did i just make that up?? CheerZ
  18. Oh thats poo...... if that is the case id def buy it back and strip it
  19. if you can do that, might be worth taking any goodies you have on it off. your only a couple of hours away. if you need a hand then just let me know.. i dont mind coming over and helping out. Neil
  20. As above... sad news my friend but glad no one was injured.... are you buying the car back from the insurance company to get parts off to sell? Might be a way of recouping some of the money you've spent out and help towards the deposit. Neil
  21. cool would want it with the lines as eventually i want you to do the rear lights as well. pm me your address and payment details and so on. and we will sort it out.
  22. Axle stands i have just had my car off the ground for a few weeks, and i positioned them under the suspension. once the car is off the ground you will see a round plate at the front (both sides) that is pretty much connected to the chassis. i used this at the front, and there is a similar set on the rear. although if you taking off the rear suspension for work this may not work for you. there is a knuckle that i have used in the past but again not sure how this will help you if your wanting to take off the rear suspension. once the car is up in the air have a good look under it and find a solid part to put the axle stands. bear in mind that it might be on them for a while. so if your stands are the v type then i would look at using a plank of wood across the 2 stands. avoid the seals (where you would use the normal jack and i dont thing this is a good idea for a long period of time.
  23. Can you convert a pre 99 spec rear panel? i just received a new one to replace my old battered one and thought before i put it on it might be worth sending off to you? CheerZ Neil
