Free items to collect - Dundee Scotland
I have a problem posting in the for sale section. This is the next best thing. I still have some parts lying about in my shed from the Z, that I am willing to let go for free. Items I know are there are standard airbox including filter and full plastics for boot. They are no use to me as I got rid of my Z over a year ago. If you want these, give me a phone on 07917507361. Collections possible this weekend or next weekend.

Thanks, Goodbye and Farewell
Car is gone  . Surprised to hear that the radio blew and blew up his Garmin Sat Nav. No idea why that happened but the guy is still happy about the car. No doubt hes blasting around the streets of Belfast racing anything and everything he can find. I decided to trade the Girlfriends car in for an Astra Convertible, that way we are both kinda happy although it is a bit :o :nelson: . But nonetheless, no doubt I will buy one sometime in the future. Especially is Paul300zx has anything to do with it :mac1: . Thanks again everyone, gained a lot of good friends and knowledge of this forum. Take it easy, Dave G

Thanks for the response guys. No doubt I will buy another Z in the future. I will nip on the forum now and then to catch up with you all. Dave G

Thanks, Goodbye and Farewell
OK as some of you know I have sold my car  . Hooked on bikes ATM, so no further plans for another Z as yet. This club has been very helpful, but of late there seems to be a lot of moaners, putting me off the forum a wee bit. But on the whole, this forum is great, saved me muchos dineros and allowed me to have the car running the way it should be. The car is sold to a guy from Belfast who picks it up on Saturday the 17th, so I will tell him about the club, plus the stickers will still be on the window  . I may see some of you at the car shows nearby, but I will nip on the forum once in a while to see whats happening. Thanks again you have all been fantastic, Dave G

NZR: Have i been shafted ebay advise
I dont think ebay will give out the details as there is no contractucal link between them. That is the stumbling point

NZR: Have i been shafted ebay advise
My mate replied with an email: "Right pretty straight forward. If he doenst get news from the seller after 7 days get him to file a paypal claim. Other then that get him to buy all the guys items then request his contact details." If its £87, you should be covered by Paypal by their £105 insurance. Like Ian says, give him 7 days to reply etc, then if still no reply get onto Paypal, they are actually quite good and quick. Also make sure the guy knows that you will be contacting paypal to get your money back etc. GL, Dave G

NZR: Have i been shafted ebay advise
What would normally happen is the following: You win an ebay item, you pay for the ebay item and the ebay item is delivered and job is a good un. But if you pay for it and dont receive it then you can claim the money back through paypal. They automatically protect you for £105. (I have been stung on a £180 phone, but at least I got £105 of it back). But as the item was not ended for your bid, then I am unsure on where you stand for this. Ill ask my m8, he should be online. He works for ebay. Dave G

Focus ST
A guy in work just bought one. He turned round and said to me, "Now you wont catch me". I told him that unless the road has more twisties than straights then he has no chance. But in all fairness, they are very nice cars. I will be getting a shot of it on Saturday, which I cant wait for. Just hope, it doesnt put me back into the "I want another car" chain of thought. June meet
I could go if it was Sunday 4th of June, cos that will basically be last day of ownership. Owner picks the car the next weekend after that, which I am home. One last meet before the car goes  . Dave G

water leaking from my guage!
Brett it is the same problem all Zs have. Do a window diagnostic. :mac1: Open door and try to shake window from side to side, if you think it moves too much; do the following: Put your front window down and on the outside there is a plastic cover which reveals a bolt. Undo this bolt then move onto the inside of the car. Remove the trim inside the door (series 1 have a bolt to hold the top of seat belt onto). Once open there will be a bolt and a nut. This is what causes the problem. It is normally either slack or lost in your door someplace. Either tighten or replace with new nut and job is done. Sorted lots of Zs now. No need for new targa seals or anything like that (which I had done  ). Dave G

Poll - Help needed to sell my car
Cheers guys. I am going to advertise the car using Autotrader. Seems to work for most of my cars similiar to this one. Quite expensive but works. At least I know I should keep her like that. Thanks again, Dave G

Poll - Help needed to sell my car
Bird I thought I was a guy who changed my mind around too much (14 cars in 4.5 years Im only 22) . But after reading some of your posts you are worse than me. :nana2: I do already have standard alloys sitting in the shed but the tyres are no great deal on them. The things I would remove would be BOVs, alloys, CD Player (replac with one not so good) and Leather seats. But I would prefer to buy the car like that which is the only reason I am leaving them in. Should have thought they would make the car more desirable, instead of a standard car.

Poll - Help needed to sell my car
I am wondering more about my car. I am stuck in 2 minds. When I see standard Zs for sale, they seem to sell quite easy. But because mines has a couple of bits done to it, it makes it harder to sell. Would I be best to take off the alloys and BOVS to help sell her?? I now think that I will have to get the HICAS problem sorted as I may put people off buying it. Thanks for the Poll. Dave G

Is my Z worth more than 99p
I was happy enough to put it on ebay as it was pretty cheap with the free listing weekend. I have it advertised on the Dundee Cruise website (mostly fannies) plus one more. Ill wait and see how it does over the next week or so, then ill pop it in Autotrader. I have a good record though, every time I have been selling a car, the first person to come see it buys it. Is my Z worth more than 99p
Reserve is set at a modest £2750. Considering I paid that almost a year ago as standard. I would have thought that is very decent for such a car. But looking at some other for sale threads etc, Zs have been lost in the mist of other Jap cars. Dave G

Is my Z worth more than 99p
Surely my Z is worth at least 99p. No one likes it. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4640014298 What do people think mines is worth??

cheap tuned zed !!
I think I will have to put a full MOT on mine too to sell her. No big deal as I expect it to pass OK. Getting price for mine is getting difficult too. Zs are all going very cheap. Goodluck with yours Kev. Dave G

summer's here make sure your z dont suffer
I know this too well travelling along the motorway most days with work. During the start of the summer months, cars are sprawled in the laybys with the engine bay open with a atmosphere full of steam. Checking over any car doesnt take long anyway. Saves on huge garage bills at the end of it. Dave G
