  1. Engine hot, just been for a 30min drive. Throttle wide open etc... all done right. I didnt bother wet testing as it started to rain and wanted to get it back together. It seems like the heads were off the engine and had new gaskets, seals, valves ground in etc... by nissan (receipts) but no work on the bottom of the engine, crank/pistons and that. So looks like a 17 year old bottom end. Turbos have been done.
  2. Thats the price of another Z for brake calipers!!
  3. i live in southampton and not seen any yet!!
  4. 99 spec all the way. Standard looks awful!
  5. Mines in a pile of bits....unless I Fred Flintstone it....lol
  6. You wouldnt all be able to keep up with me in the Skoda!! lol
  7. Thats a lot of fooking dust!!!
  8. Keep the Zed and keep throwing all your money at it!!
  9. Just checked datascan set up, gauge 6 was set for throttle position sensor. I am talking about the right one arnt I ?!?!??!
  10. The switch was working properly, but hopefully if I had the right gauge on laptop it was 0.12. One other thing, if you gave it a big loada throttle from idle, it would take a while to pick up, if you let off the throttle fast, it sorta wouldnt pick up at all. Could this be cause of the 0.12?
  11. If windows are juddering moving them around the screen your graphics card isnt working properly! I guess you could try removing the graphics card from the control panel/device manager bit and re install the drivers. Def seems like the problems there. But Im useless unless I can see the problem on computers, damn things!!! If you through it out the window, dont hit your Zed!
  12. Bang.....oops sorry mate......Ill be off then...
  13. LH O2 sensor seemed a bit lazy too, but no error code. RH working fine.
  14. TPS on datascan was at 0.12 and it should be at 0.15 ideally shouldnt it?
  15. Cant take mine, its in pieces, lol!!!
  16. An aircon guy should be able to check it out electrically if the gas is fine. If not a auto electrician or someone you know! Dont think Wayne noticed, but there was a code 13 on the ECU, which I reset. Been on there for the last 3 starts. Reset it but it came back again. Checked the yellow plug and its pretty green and loose!
  17. Idle was about 850rpm. Should be 750rpm really shouldnt it. It was smooth, a few little bumps on idle. Could that be it? There is no movement at all to the left on the boost gauge on idle. Even if there was a leak I guess there would be a little bit of movement. What you said sounds spot on. Is it easy to plumb it into the right places? I guess they put things back wrong when they had the engine out...
  18. I found the Zed to be the cheapest of most turbo cars (supras/subarus) to insure. Hold old are you, NCB, etc...? Aplan is spose to be really good. I will be trying them next time!
  19. Well as yours isnt booked in till june, you could give me money to fix mine!!!
  20. I cant garauntee they are all like that, but with 15 years of use its most likely. You just need some sort of test rig to test them out, and check the ohms as stated in the manual at different pressures.
  21. Fix it. I did mine. Tested out as new. Did a post on what I did somewhere.
  22. On a 2+2, zcentre does seat covers for £500 and all panels for £250. All require fitting yourself. I think they mention on there about fitting at a cost, but I bet its not cheap.
