it certainly shouldnt your right, however mine does, but wether having a short shift has anything to do with that or not i dont know, i cant imagine it helps. would be interested to see what other people think

t28s are fooking ridiculously fast! and i think if im right each one can pump out up to 350bhp, so in theory u could see up to 700bhp with them, although as it goes without saying youd need a hell of a lot of other work done. theres no reason why youd need forged internals, it all depends what kind of boost your planning to run. although id say youd need new injectors overwise it would kind of defeat the object of having bigger tubs, i think if i remember standard pistons are good for about 450 at the wheels max, although id say 400 to play it safe as no two engines are the same. so u could have your t28s, a set of 555 injectors and an uprated pump, and some form of boost control and with it properly set up run a safe 400bhp at the wheels, thats all what i think youd really need to talk to one of the tech guys on here, as i could be completly wrong! good lck though mate. j

got one on mine, and after a lot of discussion about gear box strengths there was a question of would a short shift possibly be causing problems with the gears as mine grinds going into 4th. not quite sure if anyone decided if this could be a factor but could be worth considering?

not a bad idea, not sure where the seats came from, ill ask, i knwo u can get sets made up off ebay for a few hundred, the backs are done to match it looks pretty good. want to get the headrests embroided with the zed logo. there bloody comfy and unlike a lot of race seats they actually recline and are on sliders!

u not reckon? im pretty keen on the idea.. need a few other bits, like a decent gearstick and handbrake to finish it off.

cheers guys, lot easier and quicker than it looks, i have absolute fook all experience or patience and managed that effort! so i recommend getting a kit, think i paid about £80 but that kit had a few more pieces than most ive seen so they go a bit cheaper. jsut need that floor and maybe move the A/F gauge to the pillar

just finished my new interior trim in silver, what u guys think? pretty easy to fit, didnt need to trim anything, just a quick bit of heat gun and it all went on pretty smoothly, soon as i get the metal floor in itll look awesome, even put some blue neons in the air vents! ha ha j

heres the next question for you's all, how much should i be paying to get the gearbox oil changed to mt90 (think thats right)? dont really fancy doing it myself and dont want my pants pulled down over the price. j

so anyone got a rough idea how much itd cost to rebuild my box? bearing in mind im looking as i may well be running as much as 520bhp in the future? is the standard box gonna break even if i get it rebuilt, whats the limits?!

well i can only hope! im not running much boost at the moment so it might be ok, plus ive got a rev limiter in at 6.5k
