pretty sure we did mate yeah, end of 2002? we were only there for a 6 month tour which got extended by two months while everyone else went on telic 1! snapping!! spent most of the time at forkhill, a bit at besbrook, funnily enough one of our ruperts had an ND in the armoury there with a pistol, maybe a curse?! have to have a meet sometime when i get back to the kent, swing the lantern. as i havnt been to any meets yet as only just bought the beast with all the money saved out here. and kamikaze, i guess if i had the choice to do it all again i would, its hard and theres times its sh!te but u still dont regret it, youd certainly be joining at an interesting time way things are in the world. good luck whatever u decide m8

fookin ell royal, i take it u were at forkhill, we were told someone offed themselves in sangar 3, always thought it was a story. sorry to hear that mate, fookin likewise we ended up doing 8 months in south armagh, what a waste of time! while everyone else deployed on telic 1. done close to a year in iraq on two seperate tours and have to say theyve just been a waste of time 2. just snaps u how much effort u put into training to end up going on ops just to stag on.

probably coz theyd not been out long so everyone wanted one! like for example im sure the 350z assuming they keep making it a few years, the most common will be the first year or two.

likewise mate ive been in the parachute regiment for 4 years and have signed off (leaving) very hard to summarize, ive had some of the best times of my life, but also some of the hardest and occasionaly saddest. the social life is second to none and im gonna miss it but the way i look at it is great fun and got a lot out of it but i cant do it forever so might as well get out while im still young and can do something else. i wouldnt rule out doing it, but at the same time id join something u can get a trade out of, as being a grunt maybe more fun but when it comes to the end your not left with many skills u can use as a civvy. good luck whatever u decide.

nope, shoot me down if im wrong but the general conclusion on dump valves is there pretty much for show, dont expect any bhp gains
