  1. Sorry, only just seen this. I've got the aspire one without the built-in SIM card reader, but i can still use my 3 Mobile dongle with no problems, i just needed a dialing program.. I used the Macles connect program as on the Aspire One Downloads page (I believe it covers most of the Huawei Mobile Dongles). Direct download here: ftp://ftp.acer-euro.com/netbook/aspire_one_110/linux/application/huawei081126.sh.zip - Install Guide: 1. Download the file huawei081126.sh.zip to Aspire one directly. 2. Double click huawei081126.sh.zip, and uncompress the zip file via “Xarchiver”, there should be a new folder named “huawei081126.sh” in the same folder with huawei081126.sh.zip. 3. Go to huawei081126.sh folder and double click huawei081126.sh. 4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  2. Can't you just view it in the phones' normal web browser. I can view VBulletin stuff on my SE P990i which is ancient (and uses Opera).
  3. Being seeded as we speak: http://www.mininova.org/tor/2775728 -Edit- I will add that i'm not sure about the legality of linking to a TV show torrent (given that we are license payers). If the mods want to remove it then please do so. Also, the torrent has nothing to do with me. I picked it up from http://www.finalgear.com which has links to every episode for Top Gear and Fifth Gear.
  4. Been using Tesco super unleaded (99ron) for the three years i've owned a zed. Never had a problem and it's always given me decent economy. I guess i'll keep using it until i ever get an issue. There aren't any shell garages near me that have V-Power anyway.
  5. I've been on Pay-as-you-go 3 for probably a year now i think. I live out in the sticks and get anything up to 1.5mbps download. Great stuff. £15 gets me a 3Gb data allowance for 30 days and 500 texts for 90 days. Also have a mobile broadband router to finish it off nicely.
  6. Sometimes, the less than obvious places are the best!!!!! Season 4: http://www.tescoentertainment.com/tesco/8532786.product Not in stock, but chances are you could walk into Bar Hill Tesco and find one on the shelf Season 5: http://www.tescoentertainment.com/tesco/8550465.product 12 quid for a 10 disc box set. Bargain.
  7. hahaha. Bet his neighbours are real happy about them pipes!.
  8. Looks more like Celine Dion to me. hahahahahaha
  9. Can't remember the model number at the moment, but i fitted a pair of 16.5cm pioneer speakers. straight fit and all holes matched up.
  10. Gotta say, not keen on the interior. Would also be interesting to know why it had to have an engine replacement at only 85k miles. Jeff might know, as it's been maintained at ZedWorld.
  11. Don't think i'd get out of bed for that much cash!
  12. Just gets some liquid nitrogen:rofl: . Does wonders for your core temp (and overclocking): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyK3WlWTi10
  13. Yup, i got an SP30 a few years ago. Didn't affect my insurance at all with Bell, in fact, i think my premium still went down.
  14. :rofl::rofl::rofl:
  15. Series 1 Jap cars have Alluminium for definite, cause that's what i've got. ;) Check out here: http://www.300zx.org.uk/model_variations.htm
  16. Thanks. I keep an eye on that site every now and again in case it's updated with some good news. Check out my crappy exchange info: http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange/EAPRI not many options there methinks!
  17. Okay, thanks for the info. There's only about 200 house in the village, and BT never enabled the exchange due to low demand. Because we have our own exchange, 200 houses is next to nothing. It makes me laugh cause i'm only about 15 miles from Cambridge. I've been using 3g mobile broadband and a 3g router for about a year, and i'm generally pretty happy with it, but recently i've been looking at different options. Just don't want to shell out the cash (because it's quite expensive) and then BT go and enable the exchange!
  18. Need some help on a BT/Telecoms issue. If someone works for BT then great. Can anyone tell me what 21CN PSTN means to a person in the REAL world. I understand that it's a upgrade of the old telephone exchanges from a switched system to an I/P system, but what does this mean to me? Will i actually notice anything? The reason i ask is cause i'm about to upgrade some of my mobile broadband equipment, but don't want to do it if BT are eventually going to provide ADSL broadband via my exchange 6 months after i upgrade. I managed to get a target date of Q4 2009 for the 21CN upgrade out of BT, but other than that, nothing. Am i hoping too much that they will offer broadband after the upgrade?
  19. mwahahahahahahahahahaha :headvswal
  20. No, the washers aren't a fix or a long-term solution. I fitted them to mine as a temp solution until i could get a spacer fabricated. The spacer needs to be the same surface area as the mating surface between the caliper bracket and hub. The washers would only be a fraction of this. It depends on how much time and effort you want to go to. It would probably be less hassle to just send the discs back and get OEM ones from MJP (or grooved ones from DTA/Smithy) rather than doing the stubborn route like me. "I've bought them so i'll MAKE them fit" hahahahaha
  21. hehehe you're probably right. I guess i've just got used to there being nothing there.
  22. Smooth is what i'm going for soon. Prefer smooth and the original low-level spoiler to something that obscures my view out of the rear window.
  23. On an MOT, the lights are tested for - condition, operation, security and correct colour. The headlamps will also be checked to see if the aim is correct. What you're doing will not be checked on the MOT, unless it affects any of the tests above. I guess you won't know the beam pattern until they are fitted though, so you might just have to take a chance. The issue you will have is that you are effectively breaking the E-Marking and type approval of the original headlight design. The only people interested in that is The Department for Transport, as the car is no longer considered road legal. And i'm sure the chances of them finding out (or caring) is pretty small.
  24. Let the whole video buffer to your hard drive. You'll know when it's done, because you'll be able to watch it to the finish. Then just go to your browsers temporary folder (or cache) folder. Organise the files by size. The video you just cached is probably the largest file in there. Just rename the file with .flv at the end of it. Most modern media players should play flv files. If not, use VLC, it'll play everything.
  25. This is a great post, cheers. You can get the Nismo Mount here: http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_11&products_id=1459&osCsid=7345b2f7b61f8db273b595a795edbb5a but as mentioned above, i should think Danny could get them.
