Supernice Slicktop
I've always professed that slicktops should have a panoramic style roof, it would've quite easy and cheap to test it too with a sheet of black vinyl. OEM+ [emoji41]

Supernice Slicktop
That does look very nice. Although part of me thinks the colour looks a little bit like a car in primer?!

Wow those 5 and 10k times are awesome, 18 seconds to find and you'll be in the teens, that's some achievement. Maybe you should change your name to AsicZ! I've personally avoided the OCRs for fear of injury but good on you for getting stuck in. I'm doing great thanks bud, my kids love the local junior park run and my 6 year old has done the adult park run a couple of times with a PB of just under 35 minutes. He loves it!

Is a marketing campaign a dirty tactic?.. [emoji48][emoji56]- Heater matrix pipes
I'd be interested to see if a Nissan dealer is cheaper than acpf, keep us posted. I replaced mine quite a few years ago now and got them from Mike Feeney, they have gone up in price since then that's for sure.- Heater matrix pipes
You could also source these from Mike Feeney or acpf if you're looking for UK supplied parts: Heater hose outlet: http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/nissan/nissan-9241030p00-hose-water/ Heater hose inlet: http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/nissan/nissan-9240030p00-hose-water/- Heater matrix pipes

Im up for this. I've been wanting to put the car on the dyno following some recent upgrades to check that it's doing what it should be throughout the rev range. Charlie at SRR was always very helpful when it came to feedback on the parameters so a good choice of location. Does Charlie even still work there? I just need to source replacement recircs or a work around as they're leaking past the seals through the witness hole in the body casting. Once they're fitted and the system air tight again, I'm in.- Ebay Zed Is it genuine
Because that would make more sense? I'm sure like many, Andrew's are fitted as best as can be. I purchased my first HID kit in 2005 in a DTA group buy. I shoved them straight in and they were an improvement over stock. Wanting more performance, I stripped the units down, thoroughly cleaning internally (including inside the lens), which definitely helped and I asked the MOT man if they were setup correctly. All was fine so they were as good as they were going to get. The beam cutoff was as sharp as the non-xenon, which is not very sharp but during the 11 years following that, no MOT tester has so much as mentioned it. Since then I have tried them in a different set of headlights (new Z), I have tried comparison between H3 and H3C, I have set them up on the beam setter myself and no matter what is done, the beam pattern is a sharp as a disco ball! Yes there is a mild form of cutoff to the beam pattern but in and around this cutoff, light is thrown and wasted all over the shop. You can clearly see this when driving through tunnels. I've never driven a MY99 car with an OEM xenon kit to compare but my daily drive (which is still fairly old tech), is infinitely better with globes designed specifically for xenon output. The picture that Andrew posted comparing the projector units on the Z32 has many associated videos and comparison of the light output between the 2; from what I can see the OEM xenon outperforms. It's also worth noting that a stock xenon ballast is 35w whereas many kits nowadays are 55w and therefore they could potentially be "brighter" within the random areas that they are pointing at!- Ebay Zed Is it genuine
My aftermarket HIDs blind people behind me and light up my prop shaft they have that much scatter!- Turbo's Goosed
It all very much depends what you're after from them. I personally don't think big turbos and a million bhp is the way forward, keep them small and responsive to keep the power band lower. There are lots of options regards aftermarket turbos, the biggest selection of which is on the Z1 motorsports website (which Jimmer uses), but there's also CZP and SpecialtyZ choose from. All come generally well recommended. For info, stock turbos are still available if that's what you're after.- Ebay Zed Is it genuine
Alright lads, "lighten up"! [emoji1363]- Turbo's Goosed
You need to talk to Jimmer at PowerZed. He has experience with just about every turbo application available for the VG30 and could advise based on your requirements. Some units will be significantly larger than stock and potentially require modification to fit, for example many aftermarket turbos require 5 bolt downpipes.- Ebay Zed Is it genuine
It's a shame that the skirts are absent as they're a very distinctive part of the facelift model and seldom come up for sale. That said, if someone had a parts catalogue for a MY99 car and found the part number for them, we may find a few sets lurking about in warehouses somewhere!- Ebay Zed Is it genuine

Another vote for the stock knob here, it's looking fairly unanimous! 10 years ago this thread would've been full of ripspeed, richbrook and sparco knobs (no offence to anyone who has one of these).- Show me your Knob.
It's only good because it shares similarities to the stock knob!- What did you do to your zed today?
I was routing through some old car docs the other day and stumbled across this little beauty that I barely remember owning. It came with my first UK Z that I purchased in 2004 but I don't recall opening it or reading anything inside! A nice little surprise:- 20+ years of Zed ownership?!?
