  1. maybe you could arrange to see each other :D
  2. being an impreza owner... i have to agree that they are second rate jap cars, the build quality is poor... but it does have a fun factor when you want to go round corners fast because they lap it up, they are quite comfy on long journeys but again they are juicy for the family wagon and damned expensive to insure! im glad iv owned 1 but if i had the choice id go for the evo every time... the mrs wanted an estate! as for the zed publicity thing i dont mind the fact that they arent very well known or spoken about because it makes them a little different and unique... if they were the talk of all the mags etc then we could be the ones driving the tampon car! we all know and appreciate the nature and character of these cars so lets stop worrying about what every1 else thinks and enjoy it! ps, if any1 wants a scooby itll prolly be for sale soon (99 impreza wagon uk spec 63k fsh blue and yes... gold wheels!) :p
  3. il prolly end up doin the same, tho if it wasnt worth peanuts id sell it :(

  10. Just wondering matey, how have the polished rims on your wheels faired up after being refurbished? any signs of exfoliation yet? waiting to get mine done and was wondering whether is was worth keeping the polished rim or not.
  11. the zed has been banished to the naughty spot... depending on its behavior between now and then we may be able to attend but more than likely not as it looks atm :(
  12. i havent got 1... honest! ok, ok... its the mrs car and it makes me smile coz the zed looks even better next to a 2nd rate jap car like that :)
  13. your earth cable should at least match your power cable.
  14. i was driving to oxford this morning for an important course when my drivers rear tyre decided it had had enough @ 70mph.... milliseconds after it blew the tyre made the decision that it wanted to overtake me and carry on along the motorway... whilst watching my tyre drive itself into the laybay up ahead i was nearly crying at the sound of my nice 18" wheel grinding on the hard stuff!!!! after f'in and blindin for a few secs i put my raincoat on and stepped out into the pissin rain to slap the space saver on... after my pit stop i continued my journey battling to keep the car in a straight line through the hardcore downfall. i was 15mins late gettin to oxford and was covered in shite! needless to say my alloy is a wreck... completely mashed! though i am still alive with no damage to the zed or any other vehicles :)
  15. i went through a puddle and the alternator belt got wet! ...causing an international slippage in the land of pulley and a worldwide shortage of workers in the volt trade, which left the amp men no choice but to go on strike :o :headvswal
  16. lol you dont even wanna know what it was... :o
  17. bugger!... driving to work this morning the zeds stereo turned itself off and the aerial went down. the hicas and abs lights both came on accompanied by a faint battery light... the steering went very heavy... at which point i battled to turn it around and went back home, WOHOO, another day off! the speedo and the odometer were still working fine as was the tacho. im confused at the combination of problems here... any ideas?? Joel.
