the plates that came with my car are 100% legal... they have the postcode and business number of the company that made them... i had my J30LYP plates made up the other day from fancy plates and specified the same size text as the ones currently on it and it fits fine on a 3/4 size plate! :confused:

just use the sender from the stock gauge? the one on the right (the little one) can be unplugged as all it does is send a signal to the gauge :) not sure the size of the thread though :(

how does the ride comfort compare to say the kyb eibach combo?

im sure sum1 in your area can help you out with that bud, a common problem is for the throttle position sensor to be slightly out, which in turn affects the gear change. it can be tested on a conzult or just with a multimeter. iirc greg adjusted mine for me back in the day on the very first ztech clinic :x:
