Tried it... falied at step 4! rather than seeing a mates grey zed i loaded up a pic of my old grey zed and the first thought was... 'how much sexier was that machine!'... im doomed! i dont think its a grey lust tbh... i think its more of a red rebellion... if i was to repaint it any colour in the spectrum, grey would be low on my list of colour choices, but with the love from my 1st zx still hanging about and the way she carried the very few and subtle mods she had, the red 1 just doesnt seem capable :cry: :smw: :slap:

its the greys fault... my last zed was a grey one and i never got bored of looking at it... this 1 doesnt give me the same pleasure :( turboz is right, i need to stop winging!

hows the apprenticeship goin chap? whats your lots workload like? srt stansted overnight 'e' checks are keeping us manicly busy atm :D which is a good thing tbh... been made redundant far too many times now from workloads stalling :(

take marks advice, turn it inside out and back to front and paint it with chrome paint... then add a nice blue tint in the laquer :D ps... that will cost a fortune!

iv bought quite a few parts from z1 over the years and the service is great, i can believe though, that if a part is damaged or incorrect it could be a headache (or expensive) to rectify? im not sure on the z1 procedures for such an event? rest assured though that they do everything possible to ensure this doesnt happen, the goods are always well packaged. generally, if iv ordered online i will phone to ensure that order is correct, but i make my order over the phone most of the time as you can specify to jt or brian your requirements such as rhd etc :D
