  1. here a couple of sneaky shots for ya... as you can see the box itself only follows a very rough shape of the trim. its the top panel which follows the exact contour to make it look neat... you have seen what it looks like when installed. it sounds like you want a very similar design to mine but to sit taller in the boot and have the woofer itself round the side and the amp underneath? be nice to see what it looks like as iv never seen one like that i dont think.

  3. lol... try dragging them apart and see what happens... the proverbial puppy winge, chirp, bark, nip, whail... the lot! we have been a bit worried about how they would gel together but we couldnt have asked for a better result :D
  4. you need to stop it from leaking too... i dismantled my targas a few weeks ago to change the weather strips... when i put it all back together i used black rtv on all the internal rubber seals and hey presto... no more targa leak :D

  11. because the car was designed for the old style japanese fuel and that with the new bio fuel engineering you need to change it otherwise your tax will cost 8 thousand pounds per annum and the car will breakdown twice a week... if that doesnt work, plan b gets messy!
  12. i agree... definately a sealed box. it makes the sound very tight/punchy and works well if your looking for good sound quality. my box is currently out atm si so il take some snaps all round so you can get an idea of what i did...

  17. my last order from z1 was a tad over $3000... i tried to get as much as i could out of them as it was certainly my single biggest 'money burning' session from them and i thought i had a chance!!... first i tried it on with the car mats they sell but they wouldnt give me, nor would they give me discount on with this purchase :( in the end i got a free sticker and z nationals dvd :rolleyes: one forum member i know of has spent 10's of k's with z1 over a period of time but even now they give him hassle and grief in the event of a faulty product and still no freebies :(

  22. unfortunately there was no room in the hangar as we kept breaking aeroplanes!! though we got a few snaps in the car park which he has uploaded on his webby... was a bit awkward as the car was covered in dew :(
