  1. I hope Zogg isnt too mad that Jimmer took a breather from his zed for a couple of days but this weekend he had christZtine back in for her continued 'im not stopping until everything has broken' type surgery! For her continued run of things going pop she has been awarded a new pair of GT525's.. A big thanks to Jimmer and of course his accomplice, Darrell (whos only gone and bought himself a zed ).. a real credit to these 2 as they work like a well oiled machine! having arrived @ 7am on saturday morning, the operation began... by 9am the engine was out  and having its defective stock turbos removed to be placed on the naughty step indefinately for not quitting that nasty smoking habit! dont get me wrong though... this was no rush job... the pair were busy taking the piss out of each other, drinking coffee, fighting over the torch of prosperity, smoking fags, darrell sniffing jimmer smoking fags..... not literally sniffing jimmer as he was smoking but passive snif... nevermind, forget it!... basically a nice steady pace from a pair that work very well as a team. With the easy part done i left them to get on with it and by late saturday it was pretty much finished. a few things to button up and by sunday, am, she was once again purring, allbeit a little less innocently and a lot less smokily! They even fitted jimmers spare rad as my 1 was cracked on the top hose mount  and cured a small 'head scratching' oil leak that was keeping the underside of my car from rusting :headvswal Thanks again Jimmer and Darrell for your hard work and experience.. another top job :D another happy customer
  2. if you unbolt the bling just at the back, by the bling.. then remove the bling that attaches the bling to the bling... youll see the idle control valve just past the bling on the right hand side. be careful when removing that you dont damage the bling!
  3. joking aside... although the write up has some spelling mistakes and some of the descriptions about 2 metre long arms and leaving well alone with the cambelt are a bit odd... i think it looks like a fooking tidy slicktop. if your in the market for one id suggest thats well worth a look. nothing to do with me btw... nor do i know the seller lol.
  4. wait for bazz to solve his by leaving the pillar trim in tact then... buy his from him and trash yours and rip the fooker off! :D tbh.. i reckon you could prolly pull it away eneough at the bottom to undo the bolts... dont quote me on that though
  5. happy birthday me old mukka :)
  6. either way iain... park them both next to each other anywhere and see who gets the most looks!
  7. whatever you meant by all that jimmy (i assume by bolts you mean the nuts?).... it sounds dangerous! if you are not winding the nut on enough threads to be in safety, you will be seriously compromising the load paths through the wheel/suspension and you are taking a risk. in reply to your thread though.. them internal drive wheels nuts from driftworks listed as nissan etc will fit the oem hub studs :) i have the same set...
  8. im a closet white wheel fan... but the combination of styling, colour and the correct design wheel all have to be perfect for it to look right imo...
  9. id like to meet you jimmer... i can introduce you to chriZtine! :p

iv got my name down for the surrey rolling road meet that topless is sorting... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=109814
  11. i agree... if you supply the paint and the bodyshop just goes ahead and paints it... if its wrong, you dont have a leg to stand on. let the bodyshop do it, that way if its not right you can poke em in the eye... legally! :wack:
  12. may i suggest to the reo's that this be advertised in the SE SC and SW sections to drum up more interest?
  13. heres my realistic one... "Picking Aircraft Maintenance Engineer instead of Aircraft Engineer, for car insurance costing £500, may save you £3.90 just by changing your job title." thats a 3.90 saving... and less typing!
  14. it reckons i can save over 50 quid if i change mine from aircraft engineer to 'air traffic controller', 'pilot' or 'coastguard' :wack: thats good advice... lie on your insurance policy! :p
  15. so what happens at renewal time? when your 21?
  16. how far away is your mechanic?
  17. the TE37's have always floated my boat! where are you sourcing them from and what size are you going for? LOL @ photoshops.. they all look terrible! :p
  18. put your name down here or pm him m8 :)
  19. as long as you didnt structurally damage the rod itself id say it should be fine... i think more people are smoking around on fooked tension rods than they think. make sure you order yourself some energy suspension bushes to replace them with :)
