  1. video proof lol... muppet!
  2. ouch, how much did u pay for the zed?
  3. is this how you left it gaz? i see what you mean by them not fitting properly when attaching the line locators in the same orientation as the oem flexibles...
  4. MY WORD... listen to yourselves, all this mine's faster than yours talk!! Here's the bottom line... The zed is cool as f*ck, so it's already won... even before ignition 'on'! :punk:
  5. Agreed, that looks tasty... Good job duuuude
  6. Either way, if your after a sensible and 'non arch work' set of wheels with, what I would consider the best 'sensible' stance, you need to be looking at 8.5" wide fronts with an offset of around ET20 and a 9.5" rear, ET35. Those porka rims are 8" fr et50 (bolt on 25mm hub adaptors and your effective offset will be et25) which would fit but not look as good as it could and u don't wanna be adding spacers aswell as the adaptors. The rear porkas are 10" et46, which is a problem... You'd need the thinner adaptors (20mm) giving u an effective offset of et26. With a 10" rim it would stick out of the arch a fair bit. Do a search on here as there are plenty of offset explanations and pictures, you need to understand before u commit to buy as your wheels will make or break and generally cost a bloody fortune!
  7. Who knows the car* :bored:
  8. I disagree that it's over priced, if theres good reason for it then I think reassuringly expensive is the way forward for the right car... You have to be sure though, as said I think crest have a bad rep but it's worth getting the fine tooth comb out just to compare. The biggest rust problem you'll find won't be visable until it's too late, the targas have drains which exit inside the sills, these drain holes in the sills can block, or build up allowing a moisture build up in the sill. It then rots from the inside out... By the time you see it, the inside is messy! Good to see someone willing to pay a reasonable price for a zed though, most have a budget of 300 quid! Ideally take someone with you who knows the cat to be as sure as possible that your getting a good investment.
  9. Looks like a beaut... If it is genuine then you will struggle to find another with 'stats' like that! As said, the rust will be that cars nemesis, but give everything a good going over as per the buying guide.
  10. When I bought my dba 4000 wiperslots I read through a forum full of people complaining about cracked discs... There was an issue with the little return slots as they went all the way to the edge of the disc, creating a stress point and cracking under heavy use. DBA have since modded the slots so they don't go all the way to the edge like this pic: These discs are available for a slightly better price on eBay but I would double check with the sellers that they are the revised design: http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=dba+gtr&_sacat=0&_odkw=dab+gtr&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313

  16. I currently have a full carpc setup in my zed and am happy to give any help and advice required, I've tried all the satnav software available and IMO by far the best is Sygic Drive.
  17. Thanks chaps, not been on for quite some time, hope all is well around here?
  18. Get some pics of your federals on here james... You replaced your r888s with them or are these on your ultralites?
  19. Best man to speak to would be jimmy... He's got 9.5 on the front of his, the offset would be critical at that width...
  20. GREAT news you guys, cant wait to meet the little fella, give our love to sam, see you soon and our mini zedders can compare notes!
