  1. I think it's a nice height as it is. Would maybe benefit from a slight drop at the front to match the arch clearance at the back (which I think is bob-on).
  2. Drift is just the model/brand name and has nothing to do with it's intended use. I believe these are just a plug and play way of creating a digital version of the oem dash cluster. Rolandas (member on here) created his own using individual gauges and doing all the dash modification/manufacturing and wiring himself. As Hollings says, I'm sure someone on here has that very cluster setup but I forget who.
  3. Happy birthday mate
  4. Steering locked on? Do you mean it went stiff? Have you checked the reservoir fluid level?
  5. Will have to wait and see what date it's on...
  6. I also think you could've commanded a fair whack more for that tintop had you reverted the bodywork back to stock. Getting the colour right in photographs for the ad is also quite tough for red ones.
  7. I agree. It's a shame really as it would've been nice to have a reliable, reputable UK based supplier. The prices seems good too... We will have to stick with the 'reassuringly expensive' alternatives!
  8. Slightly less than 24 hours depending on lap times as one lap every hour will be powered by black magic! (Which is quite bizarre?)
  9. Good point well made. Good to know.
  10. Have you considered getting a clutch from our new clutch trader?
  11. I prefer them with black inserts. I'd say these are a much better product than when they were manufactured judging by the pics and upgrades carried out :)
  12. Here's some pics fitted, what a gorgeous zed!... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=121148 Uno was the username of the member that bought it if you want search around.
  13. A very nice wheel indeed and super rare to find in any condition. If they are specifically what you're after, get them (depending on cost)! As a rough guide, here they are (albeit a 19" version, but you get the idea). I believe they are 19x8.5 et36 and 19x10 et43 but I'm not 100% sure as the rears look like a lower offset: http://awesomesaucelifestyle.com/feature-1990-nissan-300zx-twin-turbo/#jp-carousel-1389 The offsets of the wheels you are looking at are much nicer. There are lots of images of an old member on here called James300 aswell with these on (and another user who bought his car which I forget!): http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?49742-My-new-wheels
  14. What wheels are they by the way? Racing Hart do some very tasty wheels...
  15. I reckon they will look very nice. The rear arches will need a lip roll, amount dictated by tyre choice/camber. The front will be nice and flush but they will likely rub on full lock at the front, inner arch.
  16. Pull your pads out and slap in some cheapy ebc red stuff or similar for road use James? You don't need to wear away them expensive pads for pottering around the big smoke showing off to all the chicks...
  17. That advice would've cost you 100's of pounds anywhere else when you gave up and took it to a garage. Great post Jeff.
  18. It's a good point, the one likely to cause this issue would be the fuel pump fuse on the far right, but as he has confirmed he has fuel, it won't be that. Could you tell us exactly what troubleshooting you have done so far and exactly how you did it?
  19. You're right, slip of the tongue... It's been a while since I had lesser gifted zed! Nevertheless, it wouldn't be causing this issue.
  20. I'm glad he decided to half the price ;)
  21. Bargain, I'll have myself a pair of those in preparation!
  22. If it was an auto, and not in park, it wouldn't turn over.
