  1. Haha, looks like a propeller, have you been watching too much Dusty Crophopper!?
  2. Is the seller a member on here? I still think the simple fact of the matter is that the car hasn't been paid for and is therefore still for sale. Fair enough if I was selling and Jaikai said he wanted it for sure I would probably end it, but otherwise if I had a car for sale, even if Joe Public tells me he wants it, it's still for sale until I've been paid for it.
  3. But that's my point, it hasn't been sold, it's just under offer as no cash had exchanged hands. I'm sure plenty of people do remove the auction after an offer but I bet 90% of those people have to relist the item after the proposed buyer was a no show.
  4. I see your point but selling a car on eBay, IMO is more to get a wide audience then being the highest bidder. A would imagine the majority cars sell outside of eBay, as most buyers will want to view the car beforehand, then offer a cash price on the day which will, in turn, save the seller a hefty eBay fee. If I was the seller I would not end an auction until I have the money in my hand or bank. I think it's a different story when people pull auctions at the last minute when the item hasn't reached a level they expected but this will always happen.

  6. I'm sure plenty of people could do it but it's very time consuming. There are lots of LEDs in each segment of my clusters and the soldering takes a long time, it also leaves a lot go wrong! Martin used to sell a DIY kit, but even that wasn't cheap.
  7. No thanks required :) I'm sure our paths will cross at some point this year. I'm going to get a meet arranged at south mimms M25 soon as the last one I attended there was a good turnout.
  8. I always buy from camskill, very good prices and service. I would've chosen the eagle f1 over the Vredestein as they are very similarly priced and review much better. Although the f1 has now dropped to 4th in the rankings, it's still good vfm over the other brands. The sessantas managed to get in the top 10 back in 2010 but have struggled to keep up. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Goodyear/Eagle-F1-Asymmetric-2.htm
  9. I'm sure even the purists appreciate that one. Looks great :)
  10. That's securicar, you can always tell it's him when he starts it as it screams like a pig being used for medical practice!
  11. I would personally keep them silver but play around with the offsets to make them compliment the car a bit better.
  12. When I clicked view post, a bat flew into my face...
  13. Good work Jason. As for your insurance Jordi, I think you'll be surprised at the insurance costs, I reckon if you got a quote on a UK spec twin turbo, it'll be less than you're paying for your Seat. Also, you are located a stones throw away from a very well recommended Z specialist :)
  14. I have a TT with no cats and it's as quiet as a mouse, silent. I should go out and start it one day really!
  15. Sure do boss, had it for quite a few years now, and yes, you're welcome to make use of it whenever you need. Although that is a bloody long drive for one of us lol!
  16. My wife just told me about when she went to post your brake light. The post office clerk asked what was in the box for the goods declaration malarky, red faced my mrs replies, 'Erm, I have no idea!' lol... So after a bit of a chat they both decided to list it as 'car parts'. She knows me too well
  17. Yours is a TT bootlid as I see you have removed the spoiler? The n/a wasn't always fitted with a spoiler so had the Perspex strip fitted. Each of the raised sections on your strip should have a mounting point (the same as the 2 outer points. They then push in through the square holes in your bootlid, but as yours doesn't have all 6? holes in the boot, you will need to make them. Your only other option is to bond it in but then you're buggered if you need to remove it to change a bulb etc!
  18. Unfortunately, you will have to drill out the extra holes and file the cutouts to the same square shape as the others to utilise all the fastening points. I think the n/a must have had a different bootlid to the TT as I had the same problem.
  19. Where does she live buddy? I have a vagcom...
  20. Martin had to stop making these due to time commitments of a new job. I also have these, and the led boards in my 99spec clusters and am very impressed with the quality.
