That quote might be for a uk spec. Jap spec insurance quotes can sometimes be double the uk spec quote! Make sure you point that out to insurance company as a lot wont insure an import.

best thing to do is to wire a proper MAF plug back on from one of the breakers on the site and by the way Halfrauds do a replacement filter that will fit into that filter housing !
