Hey there, another question for the mechanics among you..........I decided to have a look at the air filter that the previous owner had put on to see what it was today, then i wish i hadnt of looked :slap:

 

First, i found that the HKS filter, had no filter in it........So need a new induction kit now :headvswal

 

Secondly........where the wire (presumably from the ecu) plugs into the AFM, there is an orange wire dangling.....

 

Any help on the second problem there? The first one only involves more money to be spent......

best thing to do is to wire a proper MAF plug back on from one of the breakers on the site and by the way Halfrauds do a replacement filter that will fit into that filter housing !

The orange wire is not used so dont worry, the newer afm's have only 4 pins older ones have 5 pins, the afm connector has 6 pins just to confuse the issue
