My New Zorst.......
Sounds just like mine made by JP Exhausts for about £495 mate! That must have decat pipes on too. B&B is the one I wanted until I needed a custom one making to fit the kit properly.

Washer jet - Non return valves
You can buy them at Halfords for about 50p! They're on the shelf with all the other washer bits they stock. I rigged up intercooler sprays and didn't use one of these valves - went out the following day to find a huge puddle where the pipes had syphoned all the water out  Doh!

Brake Shudder
Change the front tension rod bushes to poly ones from the Z Centre - £45. http://www.zcentre.co.uk/suspension/frontbushes.htm Bush number 1 on the pic. Rose jointed tension rods from Courtesy are cool but more expensive. Or you can buy a pair of tension rods from your friendly con man at Nissan for £260! Had it on mine after replacing disks and pads only to find a cheap bush would have done the trick. Tightens up the steering as a bonus too!

Lets expand for the benefit of all
The group buys Johnny have done have generally been great and I for one have saved loads - the Racelogic TC GB was a top deal. Breather kits turned out to be a waste of time but thats not their fault, they just supplied what seemed like a good idea at a good price (if it had worked!)... Andy P is right about certain other reasons for not being here though ;)

Lets expand for the benefit of all
I know Johnny was a little concerned about all the agro and general slagging off of companies and didn't want to get his business involved with that kind of thing. Pretty sure that's why himself and Latz don't come on here much any more. But as Macca says I don't think he was asked about the trading areas.

Got the HORN!
It's most likely to be mucky connectors on the horn. Could be the relay as the horn can't sound without power getting to it?! Unless it is a switched earth which is a possibility but should stop it working not make it sound? I know the fogs work by switching the earth which had me confused for ages when I had one not working. Take off the horn and clean the connectors and mounting plates. The horn button is unlikely to have been used enough to wear it out and the only other bit is the relay which you can swap for a couple of squids anyway.

Ferrari 550 Manual on the cheap...
LMAO I was waiting for someone to point that out! Yes but the Ferrari guys should have got Paul Bailey in to help them design a proper one the right way round ;) I bet it catches pheasants nicely on ones estate though! :D I like the arse end but the front looks too long and the alloys are absolute shite - they look like the budget range for Corsas down at Halfords! Also Ferrari's should only be sold in red, yellow or black. I saw a sky blue 360 last week.. yuk!

Latz is da man, well done !
Congrats to Latz! Was amazing to watch the Nur spec get beaten by the GPS boys' first attempt and it wasn't even set up beforehand :D Latz said he thought it was running around 550 - 600bhp but it hasn't been on a RR yet and has lots of stuff to be done to it. They were setting it up during the runs! You could hear that Nur spec all the way to the end of the 2 mile straight when he went for the top speed run at about 168mph I think. Was amazing to see him doing run after run all day flat out from factory spec - I was waiting for something to go bang but no such luck! ;) I'm definately going to take my Z down for a blast when it's back on the road but something tells me I'll be nowhere near those 4x4's! Oh well, they still look like shopping cars ;)

More pics of todays Elvington shoot out;).
You can laugh but it has 555's, forged pistons and a massive single turbo. Also comes on it's own subframe for easy installation. Twice the power of your engine mate at 2HP and of course it's a manual... ;) Next mod is to get a lightened, balanced Ronny Corbett from a Lotus Carlton :D

AIV removal
Are these the thingies that go into the exhaust to help with the emissions? If so I removed it all from mine and ended up with a big box full of stuff! :D Maybe I took too much off... LOL

Ferrari 550 Manual on the cheap...
£10K to fix! Must be about £3K plus £7K dealer markup! Don't like that model anyway - looks ugly to me especially that huge hole in the bonnet. Now a 355 or 360... Yum!

Got the HORN!
It could be the horns are full of mud and water like happened to mine. One made a slight buzz and the other was completely dead. I took them off and bought twin air horns - £15 from Harry Halfords and fitted in 15 mins. Mounted the horns and compressor under the centre panel well out of the way of all the muck and water that gets in the stock ones. Now I can scare old ladies at 500 yards ;) :D

Decat pipes for tt fit NA
Yup I can confirm I put a set of Mongoose decat pipes from a NA on my Jap TT with no problems apart from there being no hangers on them so all the weight is on the turbos :( I was told by JP Exhausts (who made the rest of my system) to get some welded on where the stock ones go as the system is very heavy to hang all the way from rear to front with no support! But... the guy with the NA said the car was unbearably loud with them on and sold them! Can't remember his name right now... Turbo's really cut down the noise and my system is pretty loud as Macca will tell you.

full metal radiator - group buy ?
LMAO! I'll have one Craig.

Resparay
Wide arches? :D

wheel adaptors
Sounds lethal to me but up to you... LOL

Oops - 156mph!
HHhhhhmmm good job he hasn't got a Z! I drove up and down that road at Easter and it's a very fast dual carriageway. I didn't drop below 100 for most of the journey in a Pug 206 DTurbo!

Spark Plugs: Riddle me this, riddle me that !
I think it's down to the Iridiums being more expensive so you are sure they'll make your Z go faster ;)

Imports v UK ... Eh?...Exhausts
I got my exhaust from JP too and it sounds awesome. Nice deep burble at tickover rising to a screaming wail. Put your foot down on the motorway and you can hear it 5 car lengths back :) Ask Macca what he thought to it when he followed me home! LOL

NZR. Strange modem problem??
Make sure you use the drivers from the modem disk or download new ones. If XP has installed it's own they might not be the right ones?
-
EPROM Eraser
Or you can just do as I did and leave them on the window ledge for a week! Worked a treat ;)

Imports v UK ... Eh?...Exhausts
I think you mean the way the belt slackens off when you are wearing it. Someone told me it is a comfort feature and tightens up in an accident but sometimes you end up with LOADS of belt to spare. Not sure myself.

Dull Dash - fixed
The covers are to make the light blue and diffuse it so you don't get sharp cut-offs and shadows behind the dials. You will probably notice the gauges look more white than blue now... If you want to make them blue again just get some blue nail varnish and put a couple of coats on (on your bulbs, not your nails!)
